I disagree with this option. Announcing who had whom would seem to give away a player's strategy of trying to disguise who they are targeting.

He means for it to be revealed after the game is over.

Seeing who had which targets after an assassin game is over
I couldn't find any mention of this, but when I finish an assassin game and go back to analyze it, sometimes I would like to know who was aiming for whom to figure out better strategies or to teach newbies what they did right or wrong.

How could you "not find a mention" that suggestion is the fifth one on the page.

Sug- After each assassin game, show who had who (POLL ADDED)
Concise description:
Specifics:
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- After an assassin game is over I'd love to be able to see who every player had as a target.
Specifics:
- Make some way of showing the targets of each individual player, perhaps colored crosshairs to represent the player they were going for.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- Less confusing games.
- Better end results to games.

Re: Suggestion- When an assassin game finishes, show who had who
Most games would become obvious by the end of the game, but I wouldn't want the targets to be revealed because it removes the strategy of disguising who you're attacking.

It says after the game is over.

Meh. Well I just figured that if targets are shown it would allow me to leave correct feedback. I guess I'll just guess who made good moves and who made shitty moves in 8 man assassins.

I believe NS means that revealing targets after the game is over would potentially reveal the strategies you employ to disguise who you're attacking in an assassin game. Seeing assassin targets revealed in one game would therefore potentially equip you to better figure out who your opponents' targets were in future games.
At least that's what I think he means ...

If that's the case, wouldn't you want to change your strategy a bit anyway? If you win, everyone knows who your target was. If you lose, why would anyone care what your strategy was? It was a losing strategy.

Re: Suggestion- When an assassin game finishes, show who had who
I agree with eagle of earth. Its a worthy betterment.
When fog is on, it gets lifted at the end of the game, just so everyone can admire (or condem) your strategy.
It should be so with assassin games too.
Next to that, cheating right now can be done with assassin games, since you dont really know who the target was. Its more visable if the fog of assassin targets was also liften at the end of the game.
Next should however be a suggestiong how to show this easely. I can think up several ways,. but not one everyone will understand at first glance.

I think lifting the fog, is way different then lifting up the targets in assasin games. It destroys whole tactics. I dont think it should be implented doesnt seem right.

Re: Suggestion- When an assassin game finishes, show who had who
what is this special tactic I hear people moaning about?
I mean, common misdirection is one thing. I attack another player not only to keep everyone guassing who my target is, but also to reach my target., or maybe just for a card. All in all its ineffective.
If at the end your tactic is so foolproof and special that you could have won the game because of it, its even more imperative to show what you did. Obviously if you did win, your target would be shown, since thats already the case. Now if your tactic is so special and important, and you did not win, well I can only think you secretly helped the winner. and thats cheating.
I really can see no reason not to show who had whom as a target, except the work it needs coding.

Re: Suggestion- When an assassin game finishes, show who had who
Exactly. If you win, your strategy is shown. Why should it be any different if you lose? If this were implemented it would make people be more creative and change up their strategy.
Re: Suggestion- When an assassin game finishes, show who had who
Good idea, I was just about to suggest it. There are assassin games where you cannot tell if some players' strategy was good or bad, because the game is finished too early. This also makes rating those players difficult. Targets should be revealed at the end of assassin games.
An option for the implementation could be adding a line with each player's name and arrows showing their targets after the game is finished, e.g.: A -> D -> B -> F -> H -> G -> C -> E -> A.

Re: Suggestion- When an assassin game finishes, show who had who
Sounds like a great idea to me. Developers, consider this a vote for the above suggestion.
Re: Suggestion- When an assassin game finishes, show who had who
either way is ok but your right it would be nice.
Re: Suggestion- When an assassin game finishes, show who had who
I think this is a great idea. Too many times, players attack targets other than their own. It would be interesting to know who other's assassins are.
