They have admitted there was a mistake, check that we have. And it has been said numerous time that King Sam will apologize if he hasnt already pm'd jef. Perhaps reading a thread or two before posting might serve you well
Get off the high horse sunshine. PUBLIC ADMISSION!!!!! That is what we want. A clear decision and ruling by a sensible and fair person on making all games point neutral, if not a pretty damn good reason why not.
Lord Voldemort rather than sniping at people defensively, and I know you are trying to fix this but can't. Keep on trying to contact people that have power and can change things. Your remark to francis was catty and beneath what I would expect from you. Don't compound a grevious if honest mistake by another member of your team, by coming across as arrogant and defensive. I expect better from you mate, and I think the community as a whole expects better and swift action.
I know the community wants action fast but unfortunately as I have told you BG Andy and opie have hours they are online to deal with Admin stuff. They are 'due' online real soon and until then there is nothing that can be done that hasnt already been done. For now I recommend to sit tight and wait for an Admin to weigh in.

and you can't really say which games were lost or won. There might be a few that were about finished, but for the majority of games... dice can change games in a couple turns.

Thats going a bit far mate. A mistake was made. Hopefully points will be made neutral. Calling for the person that made a grevious but honest mistake to repay by points is just taking it a bit to far. Sorry but can't agree with that.
We'll see what can be done about the mistake and to rectify it. Most of that is in Lack's territory, as I know nothing of how he can finagle points around or should he want to.

Thank you Andy. Now I hope that we see some positive action. The general consensus is points neutral. It can be done. If it is hard to do, maybe we won't see a repeat of this mistake
Sorry this thread is even in existence, and even more sorry that I wasn't around to post a public apology sooner then this.
I have already PM'd jefjef as soon as this instance took place but he wont be able to see that until he is released from his 24 hour forum vacation.
A mistake was made that I am completely responsible for and feel extremely bad for. The result of my mistake left jefjef, his partners, and game mates high and dry.
There is nothing more that I can do except apologize dearly for this mistake.
I value all the support I have been given in the past and hope this slip up (while it turned out to be a doozie) doesn't change that.
If anything can be done to rectify this then I assure you it will be, but as far as I know at this point the most I can do is humbly apologize again and again. So I continue to do so, although it may not make it right it was an honest mistake and I'm sorry.

This was always one of the reasons that I supported NOT kicking busted players from their games. Because if a mistake is made, then the player is already kicked from the game and it cannot be easily undone.
Most people on the site complained about this and said the occasional mistaken bust is worth not having to play with convicted cheaters. Well, here are the results of that mindset!
Obviously, all possible precautions should be taken to prevent mistakes like this. BUT we are all human and mistakes will happen, so under the new "kick busted players" rule so innocent people will be negatively affected. Hopefully lack can undo the damage and we won't see many instances like this in the future.

As I did sully. I was not meaning to disrail the thread but the nietsche quote very apt to the high-handed-ness and inconsistent rulings and behaviour we see so often from particular Mods - Clappers' attitude expouses this sometimes.

You think its easy being hated on by yall or dealing with 20 and 30 yr olds acting like they are 12. Jefjef is awesome. Don't get me wrong but it was his actions that lead up to the other actions.

And all he did was speak his mind, disagree with a Mod - with a very valid point - and look what happened ?? no swearing, on topic, no flaming yada yada yada. granted the site ban was a mistake but even a forum ban was way "over the top" If you want to back the Mods up for this type of behaviour on their part, well, I better not say what I think of you.
