Bad Speler, we did a quick little test...and it seems that all the coordinates are too high, and not in the specified territories...when we tried to put the map up for live play (lack was eager, and didn't test it on the test site first!) Anyways, I'll have to 'DEQUENCH' the ARCTIC MAP, back into FINAL FORGE until this problem is resolved.

great...i have one possible solution...i know that when i did the the coordinates testing, i had to i think add 3 to the x and take off 23 off the y?...maybe does it actually do that on the site? because i posted the original one with out those additions , i thought perhaps it was just something with the map tester, but do i actually need to send the ones with +3 x coordinates and -23 y coordinates?

That would be it. It's a weird annoying bug, but it's easy enough to work around.

Okay so if the XML is correct, what is holding this from being quenched (again!)?

North America

Post by Drainbamaged »

I'm sorry if this has been discussed already, and I know the map is accepted, but isn't North America far too superior? It yields 5 armies for three defense points.

Yes, but the territories are fewer on this map, and North America is a very good continent on the classic map too.
