Congratulations to Iron Maid, the Champion of Europe 1981 A well deserved winner after all her efforts running footie tournaments.
Original Details: Can you emulate the late great Bob Paisley's triumph of conquering Europe?
This 1 v 1 knock-out (bracket) tournament is the second of (at least) 5 tournaments based on the European exploits of Liverpool FC.
It is organised in conjunction with the
MIghty Red Army social group. 6 places are reserved for group members.
Each round will be based on the actual ties that took place. Eaco two-legged tie involves 4 to 7 games. The final involves 2-4 games.

First Round OPS (Finland) v Liverpool First leg away – Europe map. First half Second half Second leg at home – British Isles Map. Extra-time (still on the British Isles map) Penalties(still on the British Isles map) Second Round Aberdeen v Liverpool First leg away - on Scotland map (incl. Extra-time and Penalties if needed) - on British Isles map Quarter-Finals Liverpool v CSKA Moscow First leg at home - British Isles map (incl. Extra-time and Penalties if needed) - on Soviet Union map Semi-Finals Liverpool v Bayern Munich First leg at home - British Isles map (incl. Extra-time and Penalties if needed) - on Germany map Final Liverpool v Real Madrid At Parc des Princes, Paris – France map (no home and away leg - therefore 2-4 games).N.B. The Tournament Organiser reserves the right to adjust the number of rounds required to score different numbers of goals (to gain realistic scorelines). This would only occur in-between rounds however.
Reserves show
All reserves will be sent a PM when an opening occurs. The first reserve to respond will gain a place.
Joining Matches show
Players will be informed when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.
Winning Matches show
At the end of the each leg, or extra time, winners are expected to PM the Tournament Organiser.
Seedings / The Draw show
Players will be drawn at random by random.org.
