I did win a couple of points from "Benjij" perhaps, about 6-7pts and he did very little attacking.

I won a few from him, and his deadbeating cost me a few.

he missed two turns, then logged on and let it time out before he deployed his triple armies. then missed two more turns.

It really looked like he was trying to lose

this is a tricky situation....either he is doing it on purpose...or he just doesnt know any better....he may just enjoy clicking the armies and is doing the best he can....hard to say...but a close look at the avatar might suggest hes doing his best

in any case, id rather have him deadbeat in a game with me than actually win it....
