Already Suggested and on the To Do

So this is rather redundant.

Update?

Post by laci_mae »

Hi Lack,

I was just wondering if this was in the package of updates that got postponed in early Feb. In my lowly opinion, it's the most important thing that the site is missing. I say lowly because I'm sure there are lots of technical issues that are more pressing.

Best,
Laci

Friend/Foe Suggestion [Already a Feature]

Post by jgazaille »

Concise description: While it isn't too much work to do already, I think it would be a good addition to add an option on everyone's profile to add them as a friend or foe. Personally, I feel it would a lot more convenient to just click a profile after they do something extremely stupid/distasteful/rude/etc. and click and option that says "Add Foe" or "Add Friend" if they are really friendly, helpful/etc., just like there is an option to PM any member.

This will improve the following aspects of the site: Make using the friend/foe options that much easier. You could still leave the original method as well to manage the friend/foe list. Personally, I play most of my games when I have 5 minutes and need a break. Sometimes I run out of time and forget to foe them when I sit down the next time to play. This would eliminate that frustration, as well as promote the friend/foe use.

Re: Friend/Foe tab on profile page

This exists already on User Profiles, no? Below "Age/Gender/Usergroups" etc there should be two options you can choose "Add Friend" and "Add Foe".

Or if you are viewing the profile of someone already on one of your lists, it is changed to "Remove Friend" and "Remove Foe".

Friend/Foe Button [Already a feature]

Post by Kid Moe »

I don't know if this has been touched on before but instead of typing in a friend or a foe's name, what if on the back of everybody's profile there was a friend and foe button. All you had to do was click it, the you would go to the confirmation screen and there you can add notes and then hit yes. Not the top priority but a heck of a lot easier then typing in screen names. something to think about.

Um...you already CAN just click on a button on someone's profile to make them a friend or foe, including adding notes as to why.

Right, as Woodruff points out---you can choose to "Add Friend" or "Add Foe" via anyone's profile. Additionally, there is a text input field to remind yourself why you are adding them.
