We still have 3 games active from Division Two, so we are getting closer to moving on to Cycle 5.

We are now down to 2 active games remaining in Division Two. Hopefully they will be over soon. :)

Cycle 4 is now finished.

I have reordered the divisions using the usual system and sent out all games for Cycle 5. Standings are updated as well.

Final reminder invitations have been sent to coded for his games in Division Three. If he has not joined by the time the games expire (should be within a couple of days) then I will remake the games with only 5 players so that the tournament can continue.

I apologize for the delay.

Hmmmm....
Well I hate to complain without supplying some sort of superior alternative, but it seems to me that reducing one of the groups to 5 players would give them a significant advantage in terms of grabbing up 1sts, 2nds, and 3rds.

There isn't really another viable solution. We are to far into the tournament to pull in a random reserve as if they win 6 or 7 games (unlikely but possible) they would advance to the Finals with having played very little in the actual tournament. I feel like such an approach would compromise the integrity of the tournament far more than playing the games with 5 players.

You could step in yourself as just a filler who can't advance.

Is there any way to get a standings update?

I had 0 wins in the first cycle and I have three wins in this cycle and I'd like to see where I rank in the standings.

Thanks.

The other alternative is that since we're in Round 2, take the players who were eliminated in Round 1 (closest to advancing gets first shot of course)

Well, I guess that I owe everyone an apology. I never should have let this tournament falter like I did. I don't even have a valid excuse other than I accidentally let it fall by the wayside while other things were going on in my life.

So, let's get this thing back on track shall we?

I have updated the standings for Cycle 5 as well as the Overall Standings. Right now we sit with two divisions having finished all of their games (obviously) and one division who never managed to get the games started (my fault entirely).

That means we need to get Division Three their games and get them caught up with the rest of us. I'll be taking the time right now to figure out the best way of doing that and hopefully we can get those games up and active within no more than 48 hours. That way we can get them finished and move on to the Final Round.

Again, I apologize for the incredible lapse in judgment on my part.

No worries OP, it happens. As long as I advance we're all good. :D
