I really really love the map and have played a lot of games on it, so i am talking from a lot of experience.

I have only one objection.

It happened to me a few times, i wanted to attack from Moskva to Ukraine, but attacked Baltics.

Image

I dont know if anyone else had this problem.

I think the Baltics name tag is too low(or the Ukranian tag is too low), so in speed i thought a couple of times that it is meant for the Ukraine land and atacked the wrong territory.

I don't knew if you understand what i mean.

To make it more clear.
Lets say that the 4 on ukraine is blue.

So i want to attack blue, but i think the land is Baltics, so i attack the wrong player.

I hope i made some sence.

Hopefully not! Antarctica isn't supposed to be a real 'continent', it's just supposed to be a bridge to other areas of the world...similar to the Quad in the CCU map.

Still don't want to split china Zim? You've split brazil and australia in 3, us in 4 and canada and russia into a heap, i really think it is needed.

Zim, have you considered flip flopping the army shadow and the name. Put the name on top...that way you most likely won't have to deal with it going into the darker brown.

I've made that mistake as well. I don't exactly know how to fix the problem since the area is so cramped, but it needs work.

There is no line from Sumatra to Brunei. The line goes from Sumatra to Central-Indonesia!!!!!

I think i have a solution, and it should be easy. move the Ukraine tag above it's number, and put the number just a little lower.

I also have the same problem with Guatemala, Panama and Colombia.

If you want i can make my suggestion in paint and you can see if you like it

Various clean-ups...

Post by zim »

'Foundrites,

Cleaned up a few areas for (hopefully) greater clarity moving circles and/or labels:

Amazonas, Bolivia, Panama, Ukraine, and Baltics.

Did not break up China due to my fear of violating the "One China Policy" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_China_Policy I'd like to get to Beijing during the Olympics and don't need any visa troubles ;)

the principle that there is one China and that mainland China, Tibet, Hong Kong, Macau, Xinjiang and Taiwan are all part of that China.

well, if you ask a chinese person/person who has a vested economic interest in china (the rest of the world), then Taiwan's a part of china, if you ask someone who believes in Wilson's fourteen points and self-determination then Taiwan's independent, clearly Zim is a forward thinker, or is using an outdated map.... either way i say keep it strategically adds a needed outlet for japan

Could you move the army shadow of Hawaii a bit up and strengthen the clor of the land. I have seen many people asking to which continent it belongs, so it would be nice if you could make it clear!

If that is so, then you'd have to do this, too.

The Republic of China still claims sovereignty over all of China, including Mongolia.

Is this map supposed to replace World 2.0, and if so how will this go. Will it effect active World 2.0 games (because there are a few other connections)?

Forza,

Not sure how the replacement is going to work. I'd like to retire the current World 2.0 replacing it with this version. Not sure how the logistics of existing games and such will work but I'm confident that Andy and Lack will figure it.

Good eye, I think it was one of the original light gray lines, that didn't get darkened.

There is a dark part of the line but it looks like it connects to a light line. That is actually the border of cuba, its just that some countries are so small and the lines are so thick that the borders touch on either side leaving no country-color visible in portions.

The same is true for a lot of oceania and the far east islands. You have islands which are just border, no color at all.

Anyway, cuba and mexico do connect. Perhaps the connection could be extended over the country border to make it more apparent.
