Well I like this picture and I wasn't sure who was going to post it while Luc was out of town. I figured you might but that wasn't a risk I was going to take. Than there's 2dimes but he doesn't show up here every day or even every week. Often even gone for months. Quirk is usually only good for one or two posts a day and jonesy has very little interest in this type of thing. Muy hasn't been very active. Target is also out of town. Jimbo's all but stopped posting here. So who does that leave?

I think 2009 will be a year of silliness. We're due for a silly year. The entire decade of the 90's was naught but silly. Then we have 2000 to the present which have been way too serious. With tough economic times and a new president we're primed for silliness. It doesn't cost $ and it's a good release from stress. Now to get things started here's a completely unrelated photo:

I would like to take a moment to declare my giddy New Year's prediction to be way off the mark. This year has rarely been silly. In fact so far it's in the running for Most Serious Year Ever. I've done my part to keep things silly but there's only so much one man can do (without getting locked up or committed).

OK, here is a game I used to play at a different forum. Basically I log off for the night and everyone else continues popping in and posting. When I get back I will immediately post "Good Morning!" and whoever has the post right before mine wins. I will keep track of who wins each day. The "Good Morning!" post doesn't necessarily have to be made in the morning, just whenever I make it back.

Competition 1 will last 10 days.

I never said Thursday was the worst day. Just an awful day to work and then pointed out how Saturday would be a worse day to have to work on. Personally I've always hated Mondays.

Actually it's true. I think the catch up post-a-thon was created out of my unwillingness to combine two quotes into a single post to comment on both. And of course when I say I was unwilling I meant lazy.
