I specifically mean
How do I upload a XML file so I can test it with the XML Tester thing
Re: Golfe du St. Laurent
sailor, u're better off waiting till unit has decided which region will always start neutral and which start position regions will be paired with each other.

our map actually does not meet the current standards for the gameplay stamp because of this. according to the opening post, there are 34 regions, which means all games will start with at least 1 neutral. the easiest fix to the map, without touching the graphics, is to have fixed starting neutrals on 1 region within only 1 of the 3-region bonus zones, such as labrador city or gros morne (maybe not moncton because they block too much there); 3 sets of 2 start positions, each consisting of 1 region in both of the 3-region bonus zones that do not have fixed starting neutrals, are also needed (see holy roman empire for how to do this).

Re: Golfe du St. Laurent
Alright I corrected the pairs, everyone ok with these?
Re: Golfe du St. Laurent
those pairs look good to me, and coding three pairs of two keeps the starting # of territories to 11 in 1v1 and 3p games. Seems like a good solution to the problem.

Now if someone will tell me how to host an XML file we can be on the way

I host using FileDen... it's full of annoying ads but it's free and it does the job.

Re: Golfe du St. Laurent
have the starting neutrals and start positions been omitted from the xml file?
also check the spellings for consistency, since i can see Tles de la Madeleine and Îles de la Madeleine, as well as both Quebec and Québec. the stated dimensions of the small map (600 350) are not roughly in proportion to those of the large map (800 600).

Re: Golfe du St. Laurent
We are all here!
So guys, we can try to finish this neverending map...
If these are the correct images and xml , there are few things to fix.
[bigimg]http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r76/ron_parodi/stlaurent01.jpg[/bigimg]
[bigimg]http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r76/ron_parodi/stlaurent02small.jpg[/bigimg]
http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/11/14/2187148/Golfe.xml
large image is 720x510 px
Small image is 630x448 px
if you guys try to scale the big images (locking proportion) the small will be 630x446px (only 2px too high
)
Then, looking to the xml file you have to fix dimensions
there are some Sept-Rivieres and some Sept-Rivières. Typo ?
Finally coordinates to fix.
When the xml is ready, check it with this tool --> http://www.conquerclub.com/mapmaker/index.php, if valid, you have to read here:http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=50034.
