Even if I mailed a nuclear letter to you?
Or how about a nuclear swine flu pandemic letter?
Rocket?
Sounds more like rocketmail.

"Nuclear wessels... where do you keep your nuclear wessels?"
Sidenote... alameda is a navy base no more, closed in 1997.
I had the opportunity to tour the USS Carl Vinson while the USS Enterprise was docked along side.
It was Very Impressive. The USS Hornet is still there, as a museum.
There were up to 4 aircraft carriers docked at Alameda at one time.
I was in San Diego Harbor once when the USS Nimitz was putting out to sea...
It passed about 100 yards from us... but the best part was that there was a sail boat with a novice crew that could not get properly clear... the big tugs that travel with the Nimitz thru the harbor started blasting their horns and accelerated like crazy to intercept and push it clear... fortunately they managed to tack away at the last moment and had to hold their line while over 1000 feet of moving steel cruised just yards past them... it was the coolest thing i'd ever seen... i'm sure they didn't think so, though, and were simply happy to still be alive, lol

Re: SICK AND TIRED of being threatened with nuclear weapons
in my eyes any tactics that could increase a players chance of winning (Nuclear Intimidation, Secret Diplomacy etc.) Are perfectly fair to do.I don't use such tactics but believe anything you can do should be done. But in a case where i was being intimidated it encouraged me to fight on and i came on on top and won the battle.
Re: If they can't take a joke? Nuke 'em!
If you succumb to chemical warfare over the course of a game
it's probably your own fault.
btw... I don't find the phrase "threat of nuclear weapons" made in the OP to be a common colloquialism at all and if this thought was intended to be "taken seriously" the seed probably should have been planted in the Strategy Forum. The ominous nature of a large stack or bulbous fortification is much closer to WMD and rarely requires game chat verbage to be threatening to all others on the map. So any attempt to outlaw such circumstances is really nothing short of silly.
I am sick and tired of the constant threat of nuclear weapons in the real world though.
