I love your Feudal War.
Even if Im new, it seemed to be a bit unbalanced.
With this new map, you seem to taken caren of those issues. Plus both maps look good too.

But just one slight point about "realism", 8 castles and only 4 villages?
Other way around would be more sensible. Or just adding more villages.

I havent read through this whole thread, being so new as I am. Just wanted to point that out. If it have been discussed before and taken care of, just ignore me.

As this is a great map and interesting game play overall, it dont have to be "real".

              Final Forge

---The Feudal Epic Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. The map has passed rigorous gameplay and graphics examinations, and major concerns have been addressed. If you have any other concerns, please make your voice heard. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version. After a reasonable amount of time has been given for final comment, and after the completion of the XML, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play.

Post questions and concerns if any.

I think the best thing about this new version is the fact that everything is a lot more balanced. No more fretting about who to attack when you get the bombard-less RoM.

Awesome map, and I can't wait for it to get passed.

If I have been working many hours on a project, for days on end, I find that it is VERY beneficial to just step away from it for a week. It is amazing how this really clears your mind of the thing.
When you come back to it, you will see exactly what it needs, if anything.
I have not looked at this map for about a week now, and just now I popped it up.
Guess what I saw ?

... a perfect, kickass work of art. :D
FORGE =D> IT !!!

Looks ready to go! Only concern is Barbarians & Imperial walls look light & thin in standard size map, but I know they're there. ;)

Willing to bet those of us that 'frequent' the current Feudal should have a tournament up & going within a week or 2 at most on this one! :D

Great work gimil! =D> =D>

very nice a.sub.

Now, I was thinking, what is to seperate different sections of "plains" if you will... will there be slightly larger neutrals on, say, Xeu 22 and Tri 10? or will it just be a whole plethora of ones... with 5's on villages.

k, so, why is Tri12 a neutral 2? just a random out of the way territory with an extra army?

and why is it that Tri7 and G'ah8 don't start with 3's like the other bridges?

but I do like how in every kingdom, 7 is the enterance

Lol, lay off my home, eh? The Mojave is a great place to be if you happen to live near the river, or have a pool. Though our pool did hit 91 degrees this weekend

and, before I forget

viewtopic.php?f=90&t=92230&start=15#p2124950
tournament that's waiting for 6 more players and the release of this map

Yeah, then you can bare witness to the lack of "green" in August, at your locale.
But its a dry heat , right ?
Been there, done that, and liked it very much. Everyone goes to work at or before the crack of dawn, and knock off at noon. Then the only place to find humans, is at the local bar, or at home enjoying a pleasant Siesta. If your outside, you will not see too many humans "NOT" in the water somewhere. :D
