Emails for speed games
As my games no longer seem to fill quickly, is it possible to have an email alert for speed games also (apart from the inbox mssg)? If not, we should make that an option

Re: Emails for speed games
I think the reason the only current option for speed games is a PM---is because when creating or wanting to play a Speed Game---one usually will remain on the website, since they will either fill within 15 minutes or drop.

Um, Andy, are you feeling alright? That feature was changed months ago. Speed games do not automatically drop after 15 minutes any more.

According to lackattack they do:
If you logout or your session is idle for more than 15 minutes you will be automatically dropped from any waiting speed games.

We're both right and wrong. They do drop after 15 minutes---if, as Optimus Prime pointed out, your session is idle or you log out.
However, if you stay logged in and active on the website, the 15 minute limitation doesn't start counting until you go idle I believe.

Re: Emails for speed games
Simple solution. Set it so you get an email when you get messages.
Re: Emails for speed games
yeh that's what i want. Games take long to fill so im doing other stuff in between.
Also set it that u can chose whether to get a message when a casual game starts or not. This should prevent a lot of the ppl joining freestyle casual games and quickly starting + ending before the gamecreator even started his turn.

I don't get a PM when a speed game I'm in starts...is this something I need to set? I just looked and I don't see a setting for it...can you point to it for me, please?
Thanks.

Game settings, Notifications. Check the last box in the div.
Edit: Even further. Control Panel, Board preferences, 5th one from the top. Done, now you get emails when you start speed games. Remember to save.

Ah, I didn't even think to look in Game Settings (duh). Thank you kindly, sir.
