There is no way formula1 and Boxing are mainstream, golf yes, and tennis possibly. But its kinda hard to get really excited about them. The reason The sports are mainstream is becuase they can be watched and you can get up and cheer about them. Might I also point out the massive stadiums and areans built for these sports

how can you say formula 1 is not mainstream do you know how many people actually go to these events. in britain over the three days of practise and the race there are 500,000 people pay to see them race and practise. every race has at least 200,000 people there on race days.
also boxing, for the ricky the hitman hatton(man city fan), 6000 fans from england went over to las vegas to watch him fight juan urango, which he won. when he fights in the the arena in manchester it holds up to 20,000 and it is always full. ricky has 42 fights no losses, beat that.
