When in the join a game menu(speed) the rank icons seem to be miss aligned with the players name, so if i was looking at a sergeant 1st.class i can also see a slight amount of the lieutenant icon aswell, not much just the very top of it, anybody know of any problems and solutions?

What browser any operating system you are using? I know of Mac users seeing some slight placement shifts in regards to the icons.

What sort of operating system are you using? Any other details? Are you running scripts?

Did you ever clear your cache and/or cookies? I'm pretty sure that should fix it.

Have you tried going under the VIEW tab-- click RESET.

The way the rank icons are displayed has recently been changed... they used to be separate icon files, but are now all contained in one file with different bits of that image visible...

That explains why the change has occurred recently - there must be some sort of misalignment happening your end somewhere...

Thanks for the feed back everybody, unfortunately none of the above mentioned ideas worked....I only had 1 cache and it only contained 1 empty folder, i cleared all cookies in firefox & ie just to be sure. I also went to the view tab to select the re-set but my system must use the word ''Reload'' because no re-set is there except in the zoom in/zoom out sub menu, I also hired a local company that looked to see if there was anything wrong with my system and they are called Geek Squad, a local company that makes house calls for PC's, at $110 a hour--they searched and looked for 1.5 hours and verified it is not on my end and i went that route to be sure as well, the only other information i can think of is that i am running the HP Pavilion Special Edition with Windows Vista 4 Gig, I am not running any scripts these days but have installed Greasemonkey and added on BOB and Maprank wich i dont use 99% of the time because it slows things down I have had those previous mentioned add-ons since i joined CC a year ago trouble free, I realize the icons are cosmetic eye candy but would love to hear any other ideas if there are any so i can fully enjoy our club---Thank you

Well since i am not getting any information on this problem i am having with the rank icons i can tell what i have learned in the silence, Firefox is the PROBLEM-- I now have to play using IE browser to enjoy the 38 dollar(Canadian currency) premium I loyally pay, I might be without BOB & Maprank using IE but it sure beats dealing with this bug that spreading with Firefox3.1.1---there are players going thru even worse issues like not getting Ave's or worse yet they dont get the map, which is also a very delayed response!! So my point being is IE is trouble free if you are willing to play with out the add-ons/grease monkey. If you need to see the stats from time to time bounce back and forth to update yourself mentally, you also have the option to create another tab so the process is even that much quicker, I simply write this rather waiting around for a problem to be remedied, perhaps the issue(s) are already being addressed but who knows I didn't hear anything from a Mod that it is being looked at or even told that they might be too busy, never the less everything runs terrific with IE.

We know that on some systems the rank icons are shifted by a pixel or two but we still can't replicate the error or nail down the cause. Until we get more clues it probably won't get fixed because most players should still be able to enjoy the website despite this and the time to investigate further would take away from other priorities and might not even lead to a solution.

unusually low screen resolution maybe? is it a netbook(some of these only do 320x240)?

Sorry for the delay, how would one go about checking that out.....screen resalution or notebook as you suggested
