I think there should be a rating system, just like the system used for players left after games, for you to rate the host of a tourney you just played in. You can use such features as:
organization- poor/fair
attendance- poor/fair
execution- poor/fair
some for starters.
I came up with this idea because many times I get a PM 1 to 2 months later for the next round to begin and every time the excuse is " sorry for the tardiness, I been busy". I really hate reading PM's and joining games 2 months later. This way, when you sign up for a tourney, you know from the rating what kind of host you are dealing with.

I think this is a good idea.
...I prefer a man who will burn the flag and then wrap himself in the Constitution to a man who will burn the Constitution and then wrap himself in the flag.

Excellent idea, i got or have 2 of those tourneys on the go right now and if there was a rate system like mentioned above it sure would make it more comfortable to join a active host, after all i(we) make the commitment to be able to tend to our tournaments and follow thru why would this not be a burden posed on the host, i was in 3rd round with high contention for finals and the host decides to drop the whole shot because they got busy with out any warning---(that's right drake i am talking about you
) and not too mention how many tourneys would get cleaned up in the on-going forum making it that much easier to locate a particular one, I sure hope CC considers this idea it would give new life to joining tournaments and confidence!!
