This family of games is quite distinctive. Each place has things they produce, and you gret cards which say you'll get $x for delivering product y to place z. Obviously the harder the task the higher the payoff. You have to pay to build the lines, and in most games there's a race for certain routes which avoid more expensive terrain. First to a specified amount wins. It's simple rules, involved strategy, my favourite sort of boardgame (which is I guess why I'm in CC). You also learn a certain amount of geography.

I think we should just move on before anyone else notices, Jonesy!
If I were to live in England again I'd definitely live in cornwall - if I could get a job there. Beautiful.

I used to go to St Germans every year for the Elephant Fair.
And I have a couple of friends who live or lived in St Austell.

Please don't tell me that I am the only one here that has heard of Grand Forks, ND.
Grand Forks is a nice city. It is located along the Red River.

Reading threads like this reminds me of just how small and insignificant our lives all are. How little of the world we ever really get to know, vs. the sea of life cover the continents.

The best place to live is the place where you live. That is, assuming it's safe and comfortable. But I think we can assume that everyone on Conquer Club has first world problems, not third world.

Bah, I'm over explaining and making this less poetical.

I live just north of Detroit, MI.
Could Detroit qualify as third world?
