Re: The Human Body (7th Update, pg 4)
The map looks too cluttered first off, just getting to the point. And it's hard to tell what bonuses are which. Just doesn't look like a quality map. This map does not have a future.

Re: The Human Body (7th Update, pg 4)
I like what you have going on here, looks medical and i'm sure further edits will clean up the attack routes.
suggestions:
only certain muscles should attack certain bones (like cramps which hinder movement: calf and forearm particularly)
also certain bones should attack muscles/vessles (ex. femur is one of the stronger bones but if it breaks there is a high chance of it cutting the femural artery/"quadricep", same for humerus and brachial artery/"bicep").
also what about penis/vagina to brain attack or bombard (all too often hormones take control of the brain in social settings)
anyway just some thoughts, keep up the good work.

Hi all - I've been swamped with work, but when I find some free time, I plan on doing some big re-thinking here and see if I can't address some of these issues. Despite rjizzdude's gloomy outlook, I think I can make this thing work with a few more drafts.

It would appear that development of this map has stalled. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the CAs will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made.

Re: The Human Body (revived - 8th Update, pg 6)
8th Update:
Complete graphic & gameplay overhaul.
Still needs lots of work, but I want to get some feedback before continuing.
Text might be too muddled on small map.
Need to make more room for troop #s, especially in the neck area on both bodies.
Not sure about organ 'legend'. Confusing?

this is a massive improvement 10 fold!
what i do recommend is making it so the Heart Bombards teh brain not the Lung as there is no air way to the brain but there are veins and artery's

Why the woman has all the internal organs reversed?

thanks!
the Lung > Brain thing was because you can inhale certain... uh herbs and other things that would inhibit the brain. However, now that you mention it, those substances actually inhibit the Brain by way of the bloodstream, so good call. I will change that in the next update.

Re: The Human Body (revived - 9th Update, pg 6)
9th Update:
Dropped both Larynx territories because the space was too crowded, but now stuck with 67. Will re-add "Love" as a territory next update to make 68.
Now only Heart bombards The Brain.
Changed organ graphics for consistency between sexes and for clarity.
Changed font to all one style. Looks clearer on smaller map.

I really like it. I would maybe make a right and left brain in there. I like the whole "class drawing" thing. nice touch.

I like that idea. It would be interesting if the right brain could attack the left side of each body and vice versa, but would that be too confusing?
A simpler way would be right > female, left > male, but that supports a rather stereotypical view.
I'll give this one some thought. Thanks for the suggestion.

I think the Brain may have enough going on with its current abilities, not sure it's necessary to add anything else.

Re: The Human Body (revived - 9th Update, pg 6)
Overall this map looks good, and it looks like it will offer some interesting gameplay. However, it's a tad confusing on a couple of levels. You imposed the body and the brains on a sheet of paper in a spiral notebook, which a school-kid presumably used to take notes. But, unless the kid who owns the notebook also possesses immense talents, I doubt he or she would be able to draw and color the brains, organs, and the muscular and skeletal systems with photographic precision. Perhaps a textbook or a quiz would better frame the body renderings? Also, if the teacher's angry at the kid for doodling, why did he or she give the kid a B+? That's serious grade inflation. And why's there a grade in the first place? Was this a test? If you make it look like a quiz, then it would make a bit more sense. Right now, it looks like a set of notes that wouldn't be graded.
These are just a couple of suggestions. I hope they can be of help.

Re: The Human Body (revived - 9th Update, pg 6)
Mmmmm... Agreed on above post.
Maybe make it look like he glued the diagram in.
Some notes might be graded, maybe their studying to do an essay or something... Maybe the notes aswell as the essay were graded, but you don't have to be a genius to create a story to it, however I continue to agree with the kid being a proffesional artist.
So I suggest the only change be the diagram to appear to be glued in his notebook.

Re: The Human Body (revived - 9th Update, pg 6)
So... other than a few graphic theme suggestions and maybe adding a Left/Right brain instead of Love - are there any other suggestions for this?
Seems like everyone prefers the new look - but what about bonus structure and territory connections, etc. Any concerns?
I agree with the graphic/thematic suggestions, but don't want to do them a hundred times if the gameplay still needs work.

Holding the penis and vagina should win you the game...or at least give you a bunch of armies.

your fig leaves should be hand drawn as well, as the whole map is on a piece of notebook paper.

Have been a lazy bastard so haven't read on the posts.
QUESTION - Do men and women have different numbers of ribs? Is it a design flaw making the two bodies almost equal?
On a finale note, holding the penis should be worth more than holding the vagina, having external genitals makes a body more open/vunerable to attack, so there should be some compensation for this.
