Re: The Next Conqueror?
whoever starts newbie farming will probably overtake herpes... I think thats how he became conquerer in the first place. I could be wrong, but i played him once after about 20 or so games and he totally took advantage of my inexperience. It was a same-time game on a map i'd never seen before. He beat me in like 6 minutes. I'll never play him again.

I'll pick rabbiton
King Herpes would not be conqueror if the City Mogul map didn't exist.
(just my worthless opinion)

AFAIK he's not actively trying, but he's one of 4 clan-members I know of who have the right type of skill to be up the top. Unfortunately though, as General Leitner states, it comes down to who is going to newbie farm - rabbit plays mostly people of rank in tournament, clan, and private games

Clearly, it's going to be KLOBBER. How can anyone compete with the method?

he (rabbit)does now, dont forget he was always around 2700 to 3000 score player which is solid, he gained about 1500 to 1800 points farming 1 vs 1 joining last against newbies or did you forget?? this includes him winning 207 games in a row and skyrocketed from like 2700 to 4600 score jumping 2000 points almost.

Re: The Next Conqueror?
Personally I don't believe that anyone will overtake Herp until he decides that being Conqueror is no longer important to him.
That said...
There are not many that understand how difficult it is to maintain or even gain rank when you are at the level that Karel, Rabbit and myself are. It's very demoralizing to see the fruits of an entire week of victories vanish before your eyes because of just one loss. Those that do understand and have the mindset to persevere are the ones that will be successful in achieving the #1 spot.
Rabbit is obviously a very patient player and an excellent team game strategist, he chooses his games wisely and I do not see him being in danger of dropping rank but his upward progress will be slow and steady.
Karel is no doubt one of the best freestyle players on cc, not only does he have the ability to drop attack and fort within the last few seconds of the clock but his ability to read the map and formulate a successful victory plan is rivaled by very few players on the site.
I honestly believe that Rabbit, Karel and myself have what it takes to reach the #1 spot but at this particular moment in time my money is on Karel.

You said in the same post that you don't believe anyone can take the top spot from Herpes, and that 3 people have what it takes to get to the top.

Most of what he said is laughable-- yet another player that throws all the top speed freesylers on ignore so he can farm noobs.

Sorry it was over your head Sully...
If you look carefully, I used the word UNTIL. I don't think that anyone will take the top spot from Herp UNTIL being # 1 is no longer important to him.
You somehow omitted this word when you summed up what I said in your little sentence with the confused guy icon
Basically Sully, the word "until" means "up to the time of".
So obviously if i were to say that it would be Karel that would overtake Herp, the event would occur AFTER being in the #1 spot was no longer important to Herp.
Hope that clears things up for you.

Re: The Next Conqueror?
When I was in TNT I think Herpes mentioned something about wanting to "hold the record for longest stretch as Conquerer" .... so it may be a long time before we see a new face up there. Not me ever though so I don't mind.

Because I put you and your little side-kick Dat on ignore means that I have all of the top freestyle players on ignore
Ive played over 50 games against you, including the game where you convinced me to throw the game to youGame 3141905.
I'm not afraid to play you, Ive bested you many times...
Game 3138782
Game 3328947
Game 3342519
Game 3402931
Game 3410581
Game 3538366
Game 3624489
I certainly did not put you on ignore so that I could farm noobs.
I got sick and tired of your whining and bitching in every single game, calling everyone stupid or an idiot or whatever. It was freaking exhausting, you made every game less enjoyable.
2008-10-06 08:03:52 - demonfork: FUCKING LITTLE BABY SCOTT
2008-10-06 08:04:16 - demonfork: IF I HAVE TO HEAR YOU CRY 1 MORE TIME I"M GONNA FUCKING KILL MYSELF
We even had a clan thread that was partially dedicated to postings of all of your crybaby moments in game chat and believe me it was fucking classic, I laughed my ass off every time that I read it.
I don't like you Scott, that's why you are on ignore plain and simple.

Re: The Next Conqueror?
Does any1 really care who becomes next conqueror?! None of these players play outside of 1vs1's on maps they can farm,or triples which is just the same.Good to see the same discussions people still have here, some things never change i guess.

Re: The Next Conqueror?
It's a shame that being Conquerer is almost a badge of dishonor since the only way to attain such a rank is by disreputable methods.

My point was that none of you three have what it takes to become conqueror, if you can't overtake KH while he is trying. If he gives up or stops playing, then the second rank will become conqueror, but that doesn't mean you "had what it takes". Oh well, thanks for defining "until".

I beat you like a stepchild- if i were you I wouldn't play me either. You've won a handful out of 51 games Demon. I've taken over 80% of the wins. Beat you all 4 of 4 times on your farm map-- Feudal 1 vs 1s.
Keep farmin'

It's only a shame, until it makes one realize that score is not the be-all, and end-all of the conquerclub experience. It's a liberating realization, really. Kind of like a smaller version of coming to terms with the fact that everyone dies, and our lives are insignificant, in the grand scheme of things.
On the other hand, I yearn for the days when a player like [player]maniacmath17[/player] could be conqueror.
