Hi to all.

Im interested in joining the Society of Cooks and keen to learn more. How do I go about being tutored?

Many thanks. :D

Hello cc people. Ive been playing Risk for years and have played hundreds of Attack games on the facebook application. I think I have a pretty good handle on the strategy aspect of the game in general. Is the style of play here significantly different from that of say the facebook application, different enough that I should go through the training? Or is it safe to say that just playing and getting the hang of things through experience is good enough?

So far from the 5 games i have entered I am incredibly impressed with the game play and strategy involved.

Regards,

RJ

I will put you in a classroom so you can look at how to best start out in a game. Read the PM i am sending and the stickies in the classroom. You will be unable to join the terminator games we teach until you have completed 5 games here at CC. But you can follow along in other games until you can post your own to be helped with.

Hello there,

I registered on ConquerClub a few days ago and finished my first 5 games today. :)

As I'm quite new to the game (never got to play Risk on board either), I was wondering if you could help me get a hang of the basic stuff a player's got to know to survive. I don't quite know what to do at the start of a game... until it's not the start anymore and it's too late ! So yeah, basically, I think I need to be taught a thing or two. :D

How does the Society of Cooks work ?

Cheers.~

The PM I will be sending you explains what to do. Our classrooms all have stickies posted in them giving basic starting strategies and then we have a great group of teachers that will help you learn these strategies, map reading, and patience. One turn at a time.
