-added 4 zookeepers. They can attack each other or the territory they are connected to. I think they schould start out neutral at the beginning of the game
I think a lot of people have thought about doing this at some point. IMO it could either be like a tourist map (boring) or a bird's-eye view of an actual zoo (amazing but difficult). This and "Amusement Park" are two maps that I really want to see but will be very difficult. Good luck.

Well...we all know who should get to be in the Penguin's cage.
I do like the idea behind the map, though. I've never been too good with gameplay, but it seems like there are a lot of bottlenecks. Maybe some pathways between the animal cages and whatnot to add some more borders and loosen that up some?

in terms of gameplay, linear maps prove to be less popular than non-linear. Four of your seven regions - and all of your small ones - have limited connectivity between territories, which makes for predictable games often determined by who gets to go first or who got a good drop.
Yeah, maybe add a zoo maintenance area in the center of each block. I figure all the animals have to be taken care of, right? So a center block for the zookeepers to go seems about right... doesn't have to be playable, but it'd give the blocks a circular gameplay. Or it could be playable. Maybe a Zookeeper's corridor behind the African Plains section and snakes section. Play around with it, i guess, but I think it would solve a lot of the gameplay difficulties. Just a thought.
And while its early to comment on graphics, i thought I might mention that I would try to make all the terr. names parallel with the bottom. It seems they're unnecessarily tilted in some places.
interesting idea, but i think you need a lot more going on here. concession stands? an outdoor amphitheater for presentations? what about a sea-life section of the zoo?
some other issues:
the images of the animals are all over the place - some look like cartoons, others more realistic - and everything in between. there needs to be some consistency here and i think you should err on the side of realism. why is the kangaroo wearing a hat? why is the python bigger than the giraffe? it looks a bit cheesy at the moment. if you are not going to hand draw these, you should at least find a consistent source for images.
its spelled Wildebeest (not Wilabeast)
Tasmanian Devils are a very rare animal and are never seen in zoos.*
thematically bobcats would go with other "wild cats" but their habitat is different than lions, tigers, etc and probably wouldn't be kept in the same compound.
not many North American animals here - no brown bear, no elk, no badger, no lynx, no grey wolf, no armadillo, etc.
the "bird cage" should be twice the size. any zoo aviary would have several dozen bird types - not four. you could add falcons, toucans, parrots, grouse, various songbirds, etc etc etc. however, while some eagles can be found in a zoo - it is illegal (in the US) to keep a bald eagle in captivity and that is clearly what your picture is.
the names of the sections could use some improvement.
bird cage = The Aviary frozen tundra = most of those animals don't live anywhere near the tundra. how about Polar Ice? add some lizards & amphibians to the "snake pit" and call it The Reptile House
i'd love to see a zoo map, but i hope you are willing to put a LOT more work into this.
* I looked this up to make sure. Wiki says the only Tasmanian Devils found outside of Tasmania are in Copenhagen Denmark, so... unless you're making the Copenhagen Zoo, I think the Tasmanian Devil should be replaced.
I think this one is like Conquer Mart - a fun idea but the layout of the map needs to be thought through. I don't like the idea of the zookeepers. I also don't like the way that the areas connect - it's very arbitrary right now. I have no artistic ability so I can't help much - but something that's based closer on a real zoo or a collection of zoos would be more realistic.
Would that make it so there are too few bottlenecks, and too hard to hold bonuses? For a REALLY non-linear zoo, look at http://birminghamzoo.com/visit-map.asp (PDF download linked from there). Maybe find the happy medium somewhere in between those zoos?
Gameplay ideas: - Concession stands and restrooms spread through the zoo, not part of the zone bonuses, bonus for holding all of a group
Wow this is pretty cool. I disagree with others who have said you need to add restrooms, concessions, etc.. I think you have enough terries already. Perhaps hold all 4 zookeepers could be a bonus or maybe holding them all could be a victory objective.
Could be nice if you 'll add something to have an image like a zoo map (pamphlet). These are some maps, you can use them to find inspiration: I love this first one
I like the idea. I think that since it is CC's zoo you could maybe incorporate some conquer club into the map. The over appearance could use some work, but I really like the overall idea...
Maybe you could add like 3 or 4 territories around the map and title them vendors i.e. Concessions, Souveniers (not sure how to spell that ), Information, and Ice cream, or something like that. Make it like a two or three army bonus.
Really solid idea, and with some time and effort it will make a great map...
the last version of the map was produced in may, so this one's headed to the recycling bin. if the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the CAs will be able to put the thread back into the drafting room, after an update has been made.
