As always, whenever you can, post a large image and a small image with the army coordinates centralized in their respective shadows, and provide links to both the normal large map and the small map.

Yeah before he does, coordinates need quite a lot of work, a lot of army numbers are not central.

Just do that, then the map will be ready (I think?)

I'll be working on tweaking the coordinates this weekend, hopefully posting the results by Sunday.

Again, thanks Bedplay!

Ok. I've tweaked the armies.
It's really hard to get them dead centre on the small map though. Hope the result is both acceptable and playable.

Both maps (large and small) the army for "west security" needs altering

also, is it ok that in the attack/ fortify dropdowns, that all the countries with two names will be together

.eg. West Security will be shown as WestSecurity

Remember:
It's really hard to get them dead centre on the small map. Some tolerance is needed there.

Like I stated before; the small map is a devil to get right. If it's too far left, one coordinate shift to the right leaves it too far to the right. etc.
I'll wait and let ppl have thier say and get to work tomorrow evening experimenting.

Also, it would be nice if JOTAs xml tool I used could just put double zeroes (00) on every shadow. That way it would be easier to see every shadow with the full extent of the numbers. (A single number digit fits fine anywhere but a two-digit number messes thing up).

It would also be nice if the numbers were a monospaced font, because as it is now, an 11 takes up a different amount of space than an 18, just because they have different widths for each number.

don't be so nitpicky, this is fine as it is. If we wanted to we could have Fitz changing numbers by one or two pixels for another year and still not have it right. Its good enough, none of the numbers are coming out of the circles and none are noticeably off center unless you scrutinize it.

Andy will want them to be centred.
Qwert, dont waste time in your map using that excuse cos it wont work.

You want to say that Fitz69 must put all numbers strictly in center of army circle :?:

Glad to see some people still don't understand sarcasm.

I agree with the double zeros bit.

It looks like the army shadows for the small map are too small. The large ones are big, and you could resize them if you wanted, but not really needed. But I think if you made the small larger, it would be much easier to centralize.

And if someone wants to write a better program for coordinate testing...by all means, someone do it! :)

Small map:
Made the army shadows for the small map as large as aestetically possible. Repositioned the coordinates.

Large map:
Is the large map OK?

I'm guessing we have to wait through a voting stage whenever it starts of pass or not.
