Looking for 24 teams (plus 4 reserve teams) to join a doubles league that will simulate a typical professional sports season in North America.
The 24 teams will be divided into 2 conferences and 2 divisions within each conference.
There will be a 78 game regular season and then a 4 round playoff tournament comprised of the top 6 teams within each conference.
This league is planned to be ongoing with an infinite number of seasons. Once a team joins they are members until they chose to drop out of the league.

Each team will select their own map for “home” games based on 40 maps approved by acores2005.

WARNING - is not allowed that 2 or more teams choose the same map as "home" map.

The settings will be unlimited forts, fog, sequential, and each team can determine the spoils.

Here is how I planned the schedule.
it seemed the best way for easy management and allowing an emphasis on division games. if anyone has a better suggestion let me know

Regular season Schedule

1st batch of games – each team will play each of their division opponents twice – 1 game home, the other away.
10 games in total

2nd batch of games – each team will do likewise but against each of the 6 teams against teams in the other division within their own conference.
12 games in total

3rd batch of games - each team will do likewise but against the 6 teams from a division within the other conference.
12 games in total

4th batch of games – each team will play their division opponents
10 games in total

5th batch of games – each will play the teams from the division in the other conference that they have not played yet
12 games in total

6th batch of games – each team will play the teams in the other division within their own conference
12 games in total

7th and final batch of games – each team will play their division opponents
10 games in total

78 regular season games in total

tiebreakers effecting division winners and playoff seedings will be decided in the following manner:

division -
1) head to head record
2) division record
3) conference record
4) team with the least amount of cumulative rounds needed to win their games in the series
5) tiebreaker game will be played

in the event of multiple teams being involved in a tie the same formula will be applied except there will be multiple teams involved in the equation.

Here is how I planned the schedule.
it seemed the best way for easy management and allowing an emphasis on division games. if anyone has a better suggestion let me know

Regular season Schedule

1st batch of games – each team will play each of their division opponents twice – 1 game home, the other away.
10 games in total

2nd batch of games – each team will do likewise but against each of the 6 teams against teams in the other division within their own conference.
12 games in total

3rd batch of games - each team will do likewise but against the 6 teams from a division within the other conference.
12 games in total

4th batch of games – each team will play their division opponents
10 games in total

5th batch of games – each will play the teams from the division in the other conference that they have not played yet
12 games in total

6th batch of games – each team will play the teams in the other division within their own conference
12 games in total

7th and final batch of games – each team will play their division opponents
