Re: Princess bride mafia - the Hero is dead (Day 2)

Post by LSU Tiger Josh »

What I find really amazing is that usually those that call someone else out for the "OMGUS" votes are more times than not the actual scum by basing their argument over that instead of actual evidence. Scum by definition tend to be more blatant on trying not to stick out so they will make a point of lynching townies. Flores states that it is a "scumtell". I call bullshit to that as it usually doesn't happen nearly as much as someone "makes it out to happen" if you look at hard facts of games played here.
This goes hand in hand with the idiotic statements that noobs tend to make that sound anti-town and get lynched and surprise surprise they actually are town.

In regards to my vote on suspect for his whining, it was a day 1 random type vote so I placed it there. Captain started acting more suspicious so I moved my vote to him. Not that hard to read into although I still think that suspect is being a bit of a candy ass about his whining for Skoffin posting in red when anyone that has bothered to play mafia here longer then a month knows that Skoffin will always post in red.

Not to beat a dead horse but for the years I've played mafia they were called revenge votes and not OMGUS votes. Look at my first mafia game. I nearly got lynched for a revenge vote (It was NV3 I do believe).

What amazes me is how you keep covering up for your scum.

Nate could use a prod.

I admit I'm kinda stumped on the scum part, but since he basically delayed until the day could end in his hesitation to claim, vote captainwalrus

My mind is baffled how I keep covering up for my scum... Really what did I do/say that makes me so scummy? Was it my question about how many fingers LSU had on his hand? Or was it my question about when this site decided to use OMGUS instead of revenge? Your logic, Mr. Suspect looks pretty infallible so I invite you to make a fool of yourself trying to explain how exactly I've been scummy.

I could easily vote you or Flores for skimming. Because there has been too much of that from you two in the past two days.

except that I have nothing to legitimize and I am "grasping" at straws in a game with 1/2 of the people not posting.... painting a nice picture of yourself there.

So flores is. Serves me right for being away for a week and not refreshing myself on the goings on in the game.

Nice way to dodge the question I asked. Me. Focus on me. Talk to me. Read what I have to say. Painting a lovely picture of yourself here.

While I agree with you, the main problem is inactivity, not short deadlines.

Princess bride mafia (Day 2)

Post by Nzen »

We all just think so highly of each other, no one commits to a bandwagon. I am wary of giving scum a second night for free, but at least we are not lynching town. To my understanding, that includes the heaviest bandwagon, Suspect101.

With about one hour before the deadline, there is not much we can do at this point. Let's be more active and hopefully get a lynch tomorrow.

Well I'm willing to do a week extension on this game if everyone is good with that.
I will look to see who needs to be prodded and wait for reply on extending 1 week.

I am not opposed to a week extension. just do a mass prod of whoever doesn't respond by tonight.

I agree and will wait 24 hours. Prod any who don't respond and grant a 1 week extension.

Yes, an extension would help, although I'm personally not seeing enough evidence to get this going either way.

so we are going to wait a week for people not to post? I say we have the mod drop an atomic bomb and kill every inactive and tell us there roll. I do not want to wait a week so I can hear the same 4 people post.

Princess bride mafia (Daylight savings extension)

Post by Nzen »

Just when I thought I would have to break the rhythm, suspect does it for me. Daylength is arbitrary anyway, so long as we do not lynch a power role, I am game.

Suspect, good thing I know you are joking, otherwise I would vote for you. Your point is valid nonetheless. We must either complete the bandwagon against one of the three already accused or break new ground.
