I'm glad you asked.

I'm keeping busy, as always.

The hockey that I referee is all wrapped-up, but baseball season starts around these parts real soon. In addition to umpiring baseball, I also assign umpires for my local association. So I've been getting organized for the new season - contacting new and returning umpires, getting schedules in order, etc.. It looks like my first games to umpire this year will be a couple of high school games on May 4.

My business hasn't really slowed down with the economy as far as I can tell. Although I don't monitor my revenues closely.

My wife and I decided to take some archery lessons. We both bought compound bows a little while ago at the Toronto Sportsman Show. We started lessons last Saturday morning. We used their recurve bows for the first class and will for the second class too. I am not sure if or when we might use our compound bows in these classes, but I think the technique is identical, so I am happy using their bows to learn. I have had my compound bow setup for me and I've shot with it and it is powerful.

My wife ordered a Cadillac CTS back in February. It had a scheduled build date of April 6. We expected to see it in late April (I think they need to fill the trailer with cars for this area before they ship them out). Anyways, she is getting anxious for her new car since the weather has been getting nicer so she called the dealer a few days ago just to get an update. They made a call or two and the car hasn't even been built yet!?!? My wife is waiting for a call back from the dealer to explain WTF is going on and what the plan is.

Speaking of cars, we are getting some nicer weather, so I am going to put my Camaro Z28 on the road tomorrow. I have a couple of jobs to do but should be back by late afternoon, in time to take it out for some daytime cruising.

Listen to this weird shit. A woman that works with my wife is getting a divorce. We have been over to her house and have seen her and her husband socially on several occasions. My wife is pretty close to her and they've socialized outside of work many times over the last 10 years or so. We are actually going to Buffalo with her this Saturday after our archery class to do some shopping. I'm going for the cheap smokeless tobacco. Anyways, this woman is going through a divorce because her husband has been having an affair and she found out and filed for divorce. So he is moving out and buying a house. So this woman is telling my wife about her life and that her husband is moving out on a certain day because his house deal closes on that day (not a normal closing day...something like May 7) and she tells her the street number, but she didn't know the street name. Our house backs on the property of two houses...they are houses quite a bit smaller than ours...as people in our neighbourhood say, we live on the Crescent, they live on the Drive. Anyways, one of the houses at the back of our house is for sale....and it is the same street number as the one that dude is buying and they have the same closing date (we talk to the people that are moving several times a week when we walk our dogs). Just a coincidence? Nope. We saw the current home owners a few days ago and asked them if the guy buying their house is so-and-so and they say "Yeah, that's him." That is weird. And he is, apparently, buying the house with his new girlfriend. What an awkward situation! I can see their bedroom with my binoculars!!! 8-[

I'm still doing my kickboxing training to stay in somewhat decent shape. Still walking my dogs regularly.

You know, as much as things seem the same, I am busy doing all kinds of socializing regularly. You should ask more often to keep up-to-date. I was in wrestler1ump's school town last Saturday evening visiting friends. We played one of our favourite games called Tock: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tock We have a real nice Tock board...all wood with inlays, etc.

Hey, speaking of nice board games...we have an excellent crokinole board...it is called "The Grey Owl"...do you play crokinole? Nevermind, I don't really care.

Klobber, I'm kind of curious as to why you want to know about their activities, but what you do in your spare time is your business.

As for Prowler, I've never heard of either of those board games lol.

You were looking at her bed? I think there are more interesting things to look at through Apey's window than her bed(subject to Apey's current location)

How about if we just flame in GD and off topics instead of FW? Then we need not miss it, it's simply moved! We could extend the idea if that worked. You know, game chat, the foundry, there's no end of interesting places we could take flaming if there was the interest. What do you guys think? Hmm, should I post this in suggs and bugs?

Careful Xelabale, just using the word "FLAME" will get you banned! Go to "Flame Whores" in the clan section of the forum and learn more.

C.C. is silencing those that disagree with their new political correctness program.

PS -- As far as I can see from the list, there is no "clan" section of the CC Forum.

Well Klobber, I see that you did find that "clan" section, well done. I personally find your comments repulsive and vulgar, but saying anything else would place me in the "crosshairs" of your protectors from C.C. administrators.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, but I assure you that our protectors would not allow me or anyone else to post anything repulsive or vulgar in any thread on this site.

They are doing a great job of making this site even more attractive to the general public, and I applaud their efforts. The vast majority of CC members feel the same way, according to all the polls and all the posts on this subject.

Klobber your still as ignorant as ever aren't you? Flame wars was not about political views, hell there were very little threads of that on there. It was about those who wanted a forum that didn't have people like you inside it.

I certainly think it would be a great idea if you were to take action on that idea!

Odd that you think a private business can be compared to 1984. Wait, it's not odd...it's ignorant of reality.
