Large & Small
888 covers NA4 "N"
Would it be that bad to move the Alaskan/NA4 border (which doesn't connect to the coastline, by the way) a bit to the right, or at least rotate it so its less | more |, then move "NA4" a little up and right? You wouldn't need to change the XML this way, as the army circle stays the same. Your IQ would have to be below 75 to not figure out it's an "N" there, but still.
Other than that, I don't see anything besides the little clipping of the "N" in the large NA6 (not really a problem).

I could just swap the circle and the terr name for NA4, its just lazyness and me being a chancer that ahs stopped me doing it up to this point. Also long as ed is up to the task of changing the XML :P

looks good to me...

Here's a silly thought that might not look good - what if the attack arrows that indicate attacks over land (i.e. from sea to shining sea) were white with a grey stroke rather than grey with a white stroke, to distinguish them from the land-sea attack arrows?

I agree that it would be handy to have a different kind of arrow to show the attacks from sea to sea across land. Perhapsonly a slight, but perceptible change would do the trick.

that's the updated XML.

RE: oak's post, I don't see the benefit. Why is there a need to distinguish? An arrow is already pretty simple to figure out. it connects A to B. appreciate the thought but yea. I don't think so.

if someone could host the XML that'd be quite helpful.

I notice this map is a png, will there be a transparent background WITHOUT that rectangle border?

The foundry newsletter reports that "The graphics are basically non-existent right now, but the gameplay is undergoing serious discussion" is this correct, or are these the final graphics?

that's very outdated. very very outdated. the map is about to be quenched. there is no discussion except minute details like the above

The rectangle boarder is generated from the bigimg tag I *think*. It definetly isn't part of my PSD/

          Beta - Quenching

---The Final Forge period has concluded for the Land and Sea Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

Probably my fault for keeping all versions up on ripway, but did you guys upload from …LS.xml not …las.xml ? That'd be your problem ;)

So correct and current XML is at: http://h1.ripway.com/killing44/las.xml

Perhaps we could add 'Ocean' to the oceanic bonuses to make it sound better rather than just 'Indian'?

I like how it is currently. Plus then there's an argument to add "Ocean" to the legend and that's busy work for gimil. no "intensity", Gilligan. but thanks for the thought.
