I actually have 2 that never started.

I went 3 up 4 down in the rest. Unfortunately whoever goes first in these games wins because of the map and neutrals from my experience.

in ardennes group you also have fremiums who probably still not finish previous games, and when he finish, then will start with you.

I've gone 5 wins and 3 losses with one game to go. Not too shabby. Hoping to grab that 6th win to cement a next round visit. Top 4 advance, right?

here are my 9 games:

lost:
4711559, winner JOHNNYROCKET24
4711567, winner acores2005
4711577, winner lt.pie
4711581, winner Jondalar

won:
4711578, vs shoop76
4711579, vs reahma
4711580, vs galix
4711582, vs drake_pk7
4711583, vs DaBoss

overall 5-4 W-L. will it be enough for second round? i doubt

btw, game is not all that good for 1 on 1. you are starting with 15 territories, so the one playing first have huge advantage. i easily won all 3 games i have started first, even easier lost those 4 games, and somehow manage to won two games i started second, but with massive luck against shoop76

Barring some bad luck - I'm probably going to be 6-3. Nice. 5-4 stands a good chance of getting you in in these games, since 1v1 have a lot of luck involved.

I do agree some boards lends itself to the first players getting an advantage. That's part of the luck and, hopefully, it'll even itself out.

There are things you can do as the second player to mitigate that edge somewhat. Being second also allows you to cash the second set, which is worth more and an advantage in of itself. So, it's not quite as lopsided as it might seem (though I do think it's an overall edge).

well i must say that i have in some game, been very close to defeat, but sudenly dice bring big changes and i manage to win,so dices can be advantage even more then who play first. ;) , but without these things, all games will be indecisive, and we are never finish a tournament.

an update on group 1914:

Jondalar is safely through second round. 6-2 score with game against DaBoss just starting.

DaBoss is out with 2 games remaining and 1-6 score. drake_pk7 is also out with 3-5 score and game against DaBoss still left to be played. shoop76 is another one out with 4-5 score. lt. pie is still in, but barely as he has 4-4 and it looks like he is going to lose a game against reahma.

which leave us with 5 players battling for 3 spots.
JOHNNYROCKET24, acores2005 and me, we already finish it and we are all 5-4.
reahma should win it against lt.pie which would give him 4-4 score with one game left, against galix. galix is 5-3 so far with one game left, against reahma. this is their game:
http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=4711596

now, if galix wins it, he goes through with 6-3 score, reahma is out with 4-5 score and head to head duels between JOHNNYROCKET24, acores2005 and me would favour those two to go in next round (JOHNNYROCKET24 is 1-1, acores2005 is 2-0 and i am 0-2) with galix and Jondalar.
however, if reahma wins it it would make 5 of us with 5-4 score and 3 positions unfilled for second round. head to head table looks like this:
acores2005 3-1
JOHNNYROCKET24 2-2
reahma 2-2
freakns 2-2
galix 1-3
even if we get galix out, and acores2005 in next round, JOHNNYROCKET24, reahma and i would be all 1-1 in head to head duels. so, the question for qwert is, what is going to happen in this situation?! 5 of us plays one game? 5 of us plays 4 games each, 1 on 1, battling for 3 spots? 3 of us plays one game? 3 of us plays 2 games each, 1 on 1, battling for 2 spots? not sure what the plan is :D

ps. go reahma! :D

I've completed 5 of my games, won 2.

Currently in 3 others.

And I have not joined just 1 game per my account limits.

But it shouldn't take too long.

Okay, I won 2 more.

So I'm 4-3 now.

I joined my last game and it's open.

So either my opponent joined it day 1 and got tired of waiting lol, or he's in the same spot as me and still playing out other games.

Correction.

5-3 now, with one game pending as I am waiting for my opponent.
