Question on strategy

Post by spongey437 »

I have a question. I have read the first four moves post and have played several games now, but I still have a question that has eluded me. When I am trying to create my 2-4 stronghold areas, I somehow always seem to really end up with just 2-4 territories because I try to build up one of the territories and the rest I leave with one army (which inevitably gets taken by someone else). Is this the way it should be because everyone else seems to have areas that have multiple territories with a few armies each on them. Is it smarter for me to leave 2 or even 3 armies on my other territories so that I hold on to them as well?

Thanks in advance

To answer... Bigger stacks are better... trade cards with someone.. aka a 1 spot... most better players will trade with you to save men. :)

Ones are good. It means other people will have cards you can take.
