I nominate that for the biggest noob post ever... Your rank shows how good you are at listening to your doubles partner...
ron is a skilled player. i know this for a fact. i was his regular doubles partner back wen we were both non prem and only had about 1200 points.... he was a gd partner and knew how to play. he was easily my equal and at times was better. i hav never had a regular doubles partner other than him and still play regularly with him. we hav a gd record.
he also holds his own in singles. last game i played with him should hav easily been his although the dice screwed him. he was inches away from a takeout wich would hav won the game and had double the armies he needed but he still lost.
I'm not saying he is a terrible player by any means. I just frown upon people who play mainly doubles and join a tiny percentage of singles games because rank seems to be everything. To me risk is a free for all and that's how I enjoy playing it. Personal opinion but to me people who play almost all doubles with the same person over and over again are the ultimate noobs for me .
Plus I just don't like his general attitude on the forums, I felt something had to be said. People can't just go around swearing just cos they think it sounds cool, it just makes them look like an arse if anything.
[/rant]
I just don't like people who play only doubles and triples. I respect players that can hold their own without people to hold their hand . I play to enjoy myself, not for the rank. I don't see the enjoyment of playing with the same person over and over again on the same maps with the same settings just doing the same thing over and over again cos you know you're gonna get easy points.

w.e that post wasent even worth it trying to get cheap digs, and i dont go arounf thinking im "cool" i only do it in the flame forum coz i can . I play with scorba alot because we like each other, both personality and play, whats a game if you have no friends?, and whats to say we cant play together no for "easy" points but coz we like to. Me and scorba dont often make public games anyway, we play Elite, clan and super elite doubles, which makes our games more often than not hard.
This was in the Cheating and Abuse Forum.... funny thing is that Xen has been on this site for 4 more days than the person he was calling a NOOB and Xen has only been here since NOV. 27

youre assuming people only play doubles and triples for points
they are actually very fun...especially when going against great teams...you should give it a try, and if you think they are very easy to win....find someone and join master chief and i...password fun doubles...there are three left
Shortened form of "newbie," the most hilarious insult ever invented, in which a person who uses a computer game too much is ridiculing one who does not, for being "new" at the game, which of course they once were. Generally speaking, the speaker of this "insult" is one who should be on the receiving end of most insults.
(A good deal of this definition is opinionated, given. But the definition still resides within.)

Sorry Jesse, but I feel you are the one trolling. The connection is not wrong, its just a bit counter intuitive. If you would take the time to actually search for the countless threads on the topic you would realize that the island you think is Brunei is actually divided in half. The upper portion is Brunei and the lower right portion belongs to central indonesia which spans multiple islands. That's counter intuitive simply because people expect each island to be its own country (but in reality they aren't).
The game administrators don't need to do anything to correct this for the people who are unwilling to try to find the answers for themselves. However, the map creator zim is working on version 2.1 which renames islands and divides the countries into a manner that is easier to understand.
If anyone is to blame it is the general CC population who constantly spammed the World 2.0 thread because they liked the map so much. Everyone wanted to play it, but they ended up forcing the map through the quenching process before many bugs were worked out. Most have been settled but this is the largest that remains.

Alternatively you take a look at a map and find Brunei on it... this will answer your questions.
Note Sumatra and the Island surrounding Brunei is now commonly known as Malaysia.

Firstly, the guy is Dutch so you can't blame him if his English is less than perfect. And secondly, "English" is a proper noun and should therefore be capitalised.
what's capitilised? Sounds sort of like capitilized, but spelled different. Being Dutch is no excuse. They have foreign forums, where games with other Dutch speaking people can be organized. I don't care if someone joins, and makes a small mistake, but it shouldn't be obvious to the other players, that the guy doesn't know English very well.
