I finally get it. You're a parody. It's genius. I can't believe it took me so long to see it. Bravo! =D> =D> =D>

The parody is this...if I posted the above post, the administrators would ban me AGAIN. You on the other hand, think in lockstep with the authorities, so you can FLAME ME and others.

That was not intended as a flame. I honestly thought you were doing a great comedy bit. If you say the act is sincere, I'll take your word for it, and take back what I said. It's not genius. It's just tired.

Give up the tantrum. You're not getting the toy.

Here's another example of "baiting," by another brown noser of C.C.

I find it disturbing that those who support a return of FLAME WARS can be harrassed, intimidated and stalked by individuals like Timminz. They can FLAME you, insult you and bait you.

Nice going C.C. you have thread thugs to enforce your policies. The banning of individuals for simply responding to baiters like Timminz is PLAIN WRONG.

Geez, as a cigar is sometimes just a cigar, a tantrum is sometimes just a tantrum. The man tried to pay you a compliment, implying a high intelligence behind you faux tantrum. Guess he was wrong.

Here we have another excellent example of a stalker, baiter and all around thug for the administrators of C.C.

Why can these posters bully others, while anyone who gives a hint of being a FLAME WAR lover, gets banned for trying to defend ones self against these cyberspace bullies?

Fairness is in the eyes of the administrators I guess.

Gee Sailor, I didn't know that you're one of the administrators here at C.C. Land. Should we congratulate you on your promotion?

I'd like to remind our new administrator of C.C., that this is a discussion on reviving FLAME WARS, NOT a thread on going to some other cyber-space that you frequent, ok? You can always start your own thread, this way you can promote your philosphy of whatever you believe in.

Holy crap, for once I actually agree with you. Again, this is just a consequence of having mod edit It was evident from the way they got rid of flame wars. They didn't have the guts to do it straight up, so they disguised it under an "April fools joke" and hoped no one would question it. Then when finally when people starting saying "what gives"..hysari, or whatever the f his name is, was forced to write an inspirational posting on how CC was going back to kindergarden because they wanted to make it a more "pleasant" site, aka "I'm too lazy to mod the forums, so we will start eliminating stuff".

Now that's my opinion, let's see if this gets tagged as a flame as you can clearly see the mods are picking and choosing what they classify as a "flame". There is no question mpjh and timminz are sarcastically picking on you.

Why? That seems very wrong. I think you missed the point. Nowhere was more equal than FW - everyone was insulted, with their consent. You wouldn't've been welcome in FW with that attitude, and you're not welcome here. What if my kids see this...?

No, the insults in that forum were not consensual. You don't actually believe that those Flamer Wars types asked permission from their targets before writing about them, do you? If that's what you really think, then you are not living in reality.

That forum will NEVER be revived. If you don't like it, then leave the site.

Similarly, the CC Administrators knew the mentality of the Flame Wars types, and so they knew that they had to use their obviously superior intelligence in order to handle this situation with the least possible trouble from that crowd.

They came up with a brilliant method, in my opinion, of handling these unfortunates.

Couching the removal within an April Fool's joke, and then simply allowing the offending forum to remain nonexistent when the joke was over was a devastatingly intelligent strategy that effectively kept these unfortunate individuals in check. Peace and Love was used as a buffer for their hatred and immaturity, and it worked like a charm.

This was definitely the smartest move I've ever seen the CC Administrators make.

Bravo, guys!

That was a very intelligent move. It was also necessary, as the unfortunate individuals who frequented that forum needed to be "handled" rather than being treated with the kind of respect that is due to the respectful.

I am actually very impressed with the intelligence and foresight of the CC Admin in their handling of this situation, and I'm very thankful to them for cleansing the site of that base element, once and for all. Good riddance!

Well done, guys!

We USED to live in a free society now your not allowed to post your opinions anywhere without Big Brother standing there with a ruler waiting to swat you.

There was a recent Todo on Topix where a murder was committed in a Town and People posted their Opinions on whether the Guy was Guilty or Not.

He sued Topix to reveal the ip addresses of the posters. And a Judge agreed.

Freedom of the Press- Freedom to express ones own opinions. Gone Forever

And the thanks goes to????????????

Klobber, do you ask us for permission before you troll? No, of course you don't, but you do it anyway.

Getting back to the point, I liked posting in Flame Wars about players who really pissed me off, especially poor sports and sore losers who add you to their foe list because their frail egos can't take losing more than 25 points. Now I've got no where to vent on CC, I have to take my rage to The Furnace at POA(Pile Of Awesome).

In fact, I don't troll at all. No warnings, no punishments, no nothing.

Come on, Flamers! Give up your whining and just let us, the majority of CC members, bask in our victory -- the victory of civility.

(No matter what you say, I must point out that it feels GREAT to be on the winning team!)

No hard feelings, guys, but you have already lost -- give it up already! LOL
