Tournament Complete. Winner of the FA Cup 2009 is......

STOCKPORT COUNTY! The shock winners, led by manager killmanic, beat West Ham United, led by MudPuppy, in the Final at Wembley on 11th May in front of a capacity 90,000 crowd. They have claimed the grand prize of a years' membership to everyone's favourite website, ConquerClub!

The Runner-up will receive the consolation of 6 months, while the losing semi-finalists, Arsenal and Peterborough, led by managers Rocketry and theusual1 respectively, will each receive 3 months for their gallant performances!

Well done to all participants for helping to make this years' FA Cup a great tournament!

Prizes will be arranged ASAP!

My first tourny folks, so please be patient with me and let me know if I've missed anything out!

The theme for this tournament will be the English Football FA Cup. Starting from Round 3, you can pick from the top 64 ranked teams (as of 09/04/2009) in the country, and play 1 v 1 games on the British Isles map (sequential, sunny, chained and flat rate) to progress to the next round.

The matches for each round will be randomly drawn after the previous round has finished.

The prize for the winner will be 12 months Premium membership. There will also be a 6 month prize for the losing finalist, and 3 months for each of the losing semi-finalists.
Please post here if you want to join, stating which of the following teams you wish to represent. If you wish to be a reserve for this tournament, please also post here stating an English team (from outside of the listed 64) you would like to represent should you be required.
