The Roles

You are a Mafia Goon. XXXX is your partner and is the Godfather of your crime syndicate. Beware, if the Godfather dies, you will be mobbed and killed by the town as well! You win when all non mafia members are dead, or nothing can prevent the same.

You are a Lyncher! You do not like XXXX very much and have made it your goal to get them lynched. They do not know that you are out to get them, keep it that way! You win when XXXX is lynched. If XXXX is night killed, then you become a townie and win when the mafia is dead.

You are a townie. There is treachery afoot and it is your job to help eliminate it! You win when the mafia are dead.

RULES

Game Rules stolen from Cicero who in turn stole then from Stoofer

[01] VOTING METHOD: Votes must be in bold. example: Vote: LlamaFluff If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. You must unvote before casting another vote, if you wish it to count.

[02] LYNCH: Lynching will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, any attempts to unvote will be unheeded.

[03] LURKING AND NOT POSTING: Lurking is not an acceptable strategy in this game. Anyone who goes more than 72 hours without posting, without advance warning, is likely to be replaced. (I don't count weekends for this purpose.) Mafia is a social contract. Everyone is expected to give information and comment to be analysed. If this is uncomfortable for you, consider taking up solitaire instead.

[04] OUT OF THREAD COMMUNICATION: The game is not to be discussed outside the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so – and then only in the manner stated in your role PM. Don’t quote any out-of-thread communications regarding this game in the thread, this includes role PMs.

[05] TOO CLEVER BY HALF RULE: No small or hidden text or obscure codes. Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts either.

I was gone over the weekend with next to no access, roles going out now roles are out. Once at least five have been picked up I will start the game.

With everyone but pmc and suspect confirmed, I am going to go ahead and start the game. If they are still not here in 48 hours I will start to try and replace them.

Does anyone know of strategies we can use in this instance? From what I see, the lyncher ends the game and wins by himself if the lynchee is lynched. Unfortunately the lynchee can't claim, which throws a slight spanner in the works. I will ponder it.

I'm sure some people will have some ideas, but is it wise to discuss those? It will help the lyncher as he'll know what not to do...

Beat me to it! unvote vote drench for voting yourself. You better unvote as your now at L-2!

Hmm the lyncher could be a problem it certainly makes it more intresting whenever your going to lynch as you will be worrying about them not only being town but also being the lynchee.
