Eragon Map

I was wanting to make a map and I was wondering what everyone would think.

If you agree then post some area names that may be forgotten.

and lastly the map my not be done untill the 3rd book comes out depending on if I don't have enough areas

Could be cool, post a picture or link to the map so people can see what it is.

For those who don't know what Eragon is...

It's a trilogy of books that are popular here in the States, I'm unsure of their international success. They're about a boy and a dragon and their struggles of accepting their destiny as the pair who could save the world they live in from an evil king. Bad summary, but good books.

I'm not quite sure what it is, but the name is familiar to me.. I think I might have seen the map before.. But reguardless of whether I know what exactly you're talking about or not, i'm still interested in seeing the map..

Their biggest claim to fame was that the first was written by a kid in high school. You can find it over in the YA section (where a lot of excellent fantasy is these days). It's derivative and sometimes clunky, but is rather pleasant, in a comfy fantasy sort of way.. I haven't given the 2nd one a try yet.

I know in the book covers a better map exists, i do not know if it's online though, maybe the eragon website?

google it, there are a few on there, thats the best/biggest i could find that clearly depicts what is supposed to be there :P. I hope thats right... lol

on the inside cover of the first book(hardcover) there was a pull out map that was about 2 feet by two feet if you just wanted something to draw on.

the link to the map you posted is nice but the one I linked to is better imo but the link wasn't working and as for the pull out map that was after the first run or so of the book as mine didn't have it

Just like to point out that the op hasn't shown any signs of life for a while, and nobody may actually be interested in making this map right now, though some seem interested in having it made.
