Last time I checked, you were a Autobot, and you don't age.
Don't you DARE tell me you're not the real Optimus Prime... I might have to kill Megan Fox.

Yes. That is obvious seeing your grown-up and manly man's avatar.

Critical threads, even when politely worded, are usually deleted by mods here. I think they do it to marginalize players who have advocated scoring reforms and have subsequently realized the management's unwillingness to any scoring reform at all. So the thread deletion is a form of damage control in order to squelch outrage to keep discontent from spreading, which could cost them players in the long run.
It's not a democracy, there is no freedom of speech, so nobody should expect the right to be heard or demand any reasons behind their censoring, except for the usual, "this has turned into a flame war so we're gonna delete the thread" pretext.
I've accepted it and I suggest everybody else do so, too. Save yourself the time and headache. It's still a fun site anyway and we all keep coming back for that reason.

I thought you were trying to say that Lack is a puppet, controlled by Trey Parker, and/or Matt Stone.
Optimus Prime wrote:You thread was flaming Lack, not just calling him out. Flaming is no longer tolerated in any form on this forum. If you want your threads to stay around, I suggest being a smidgen more tactful in the future.

and seriously, i don't think you have let it go, because you brought it up once again in this thread that had nothing to do with scoring or the reform of scoring for the site...![]()

... the thread was locked because it was foul, laced with profanity, and an open flame of lack. nothing more, nothing less...-0
Optimus Prime wrote:Master Bush wrote:sailorseal wrote:New question, why is an X-mod flaming lack?
I wasn't a mod, I was a multi-hunter.
And lol @ no flaming allowed anywhere on the forum. When did the internet become PG? Now I wanna talk to Lack, not some silly 16 yo mod.
Last time I checked, I was 25, not 16.

Please replace your current signature with a new one. The current text contains flames, which are not allowed. Thanks.

Anyways...you seem to have been away, or not as active MB, so you perhaps you havent seen this coming. CC has grown, its evolved, and while you think the new rating is PG, it is not. Its actually RP..= Respect Players.
The mods new mission isnt to punish players for flaming, or ban them, or look for them...its to protect the other players from flaming. There is a big difference, and it's lost on almost everyone on the other side of this argument.
I admit that CC was fun in the early days, when almost anything went, but I certainly cant defend it as being better...just more fun. Now it is a much more respectable site. Its more conservative, its less open, but its also now free from personal attacks and really just filthy comments, which would not really be allowed in almost any public venue outside of the internet.
Im pointing this out, probably in vain, only because you probably are trying to actually do what you think is best for CC...but since youve been gone for a while, just dont realize what that is anymore, and are clearly on a one-way path to banishment anyways...so....Id suggest taking a step back, taking a look at the big picture, and really consider everything you think youre fighting for here, before continuing on what you probably think is a noble cause to help CC...because its only going to end one way...and almost no good will come from it in the end....

hah me again! but i think your text deserves a reply of depth and cognisance, so i will attempt one last post my friend ; ) (that's a promise .. unless you manage a compelling response of course)
You make a good and reasoned point Father-Fitzpatrick, however it misses the motivation in this somewhat; that is in the large part due to the miscommunication at the heart of 'the other side' of this argument. (As with many emotive issues, the combatants do not even understand the true texture of the ground on which they stand)
Why have these old-timers, these relics of forgotten and outmoded eras materialised so stubbornly?
.. well i can only speak from the empathy based upon my own experience.
The true reason these reprehensible flamers are crawling out of the rotting stumps of the wilderness, is not really to rally for the future of the site... most do not truly feel a part of that anyway... it is to rally for the past.
By deleting a whole passage (many passages in fact) of a part of the history on here, the site has negated and expunged a small phase of each contributing members lives. Yeas it is a pathetic little passage, derided and misunderstood by most..... but a passage nonetheless!
This is not just about taking away our future fun, though that is a sad thing, it is about the arbitrary and permanent destruction of things we enjoyed being part of at the time; times which can only truly bloom to the flower of reminiscence with the aid of text for root.
What implication for the rest?
That if these forums truly are ephemeral, our constructs merely fly-posters on an unwelcoming shop-wall, then what point in constructing any worthy words to decorate them with!!?
That is true for the defence of the future as much as it is of past... thus all should beware of lazy swagger in the defeat of those beneath consideration!
Nay Jim! This little tantrum from the quasi and renegade flamers is irrelevant! It reeks of the past which has no place in the future!
Well bravo my friends, welcome blindly your faceless Leviathan!
And remember that what makes this place worthy and interesting is its likeness to a working, living novel. And the ability to retrace the narrative, by reading it again, is what helps it develop a rich persona.
Commonality of experience and shared reference points (both good and bad) are what allows a joint consciousness...Some might even say that this is the essence of what it is to be a community!
And lastly, for all those who support duress in the name of progress: how well a community treats its weakest member is the true reflection of its nature. *
Try not to focus upon that mpjh *insert name of random disgruntled user*....
yeas yeas you are protecting the weakest members by getting rid of flamewars but not one person ventured in who did not want verbal joust. And besides, should a community base its guiding principles upon the actions of those it seeks to castigate!!? .. aaahhh you likely support the death penalty for murderers, so this irony is perhaps lost.
