i must say, i had a good run! But, as always the Catholics screw me up....next year, Notre Dame, Xavier, Villanova and Gonzaga in the Final Four

Damn, in my pool I survived a rocky first week well enough to pick 3/4 final four teams. if the spartans win, I stand to make some decent cash. Wish I was playing along with youz guys.

Michigan State knocks a second #1 seed to advance to Monday's Championship Game against University of North Carolina.

These two schools have met four times in the NCAA Tourney previously and MSU has yat to win one. If they get it done this time they will have definitely earned it.

In another group, I had MSU going to the final game. Of course, I had them losing to Pitt, so I lost that group too!

I was surprised at how easily Carolina handled both Oklahoma and Villanova...
Now State is gonna need a Record setting comeback because,
UNC has just set a Championship record for points
and margin in the first half of this game.

Lawson tied the NCAA Title game record with 7 steals in the first half as the Tarheels took control
of the game in the first five minutes and never really looked back after that. The Spartans never
quit and reduced the margin from 25 to 13 twice in the second half, but could get no closer.

Picked pre-season to get it done, North Carolina certainly played like champions
all the way through this tournament.
