Should Kaliningrad remain on the map? If so, should it have its own bonus?

The legend is colourcoded.

the map itself looks fine to me

personally i like kalingrad being seperate
it adds an edge to whoever holds it
yet it will be fought over from the begining
the size is fine- i see no problems i would play it

French, not really. It's more Franglish. Kaliningrad is a Baltic, sorta... I'll put a poll up.

As for army shadows, I don't think they need to be too dark, the colors are already transparent...

Kaliningrad has nothing to do with the Baltic States. It belonged to Prussia and then later to Germany. It was known as Königsberg. After World War II it was conquered by Russia and renamed Kaliningrad. It is a Russian exclave. Btw you did not make it clear that Kaliningrad is not part of the Baltic states in your poll!

I think the continents should be color-coded a la the World 2.0 map, with continents that are part of the same actual country being different shades of the same color. This would make the map more educational by making it clearer what territories are part of what actual countries (Estonia, Lithuania, or Latvia).

Also, I think Kaliningrad should be on the map, just how you have it as its own +1 bonus. I think, Ruben, that just about everyone commenting realizes that Kaliningrad is not a sovereign nation, but it is an important Baltic territory.

No but it's in the area. Is the Middle East and North Africa european?

Definitely not. In fact that map is anything but Europe. Germany includes Poland and Ukraine and some 5 other countries!!! The Middle East is called the Near East!!! And anyway what do North Africa and the Middle East have to do with Europe? That map would never make it through the map foundry today. That's why I would like to have a new Europe only map.

Focusing back on your map. I don't understand why you want to add Kaliningrad. Did you check the map link I posted in this thread? There are many regions you could use from the true Baltic states that you are not even using. However at the end of the day it's your map and your call. I am just expressing my opinion here because I like to have maps that are geographically and historically correct.

Check the Europe map...it's a disaster. Btw in that map Lithuania is part of the Germany bonus region, while the other Baltic States are grouped with Scandinavia! Of course Iceland is not with Scandinavia but with the UK and W. Europe as grouping.

Sorry I don't want to deviate on another map here.

Made Kaliningrad its own, got rid of the little history discertation, added 4 more territories for a grand total of 34.

Use the map I gave you. It has names in the native languages. In the legend either use native languages or English. Why use French? I already asked you this!

Yes, a simple outline would do just fine.
The legend needs a lot more contrast.
The bridges only look good on the mainland, a nice medieval feel. The ones connecting to the islands just look odd. Try a simple connecting line instead.
