Eliminated from a game if you miss your turn to many times
What happens if a player miss her/his turn one to many times in a row? Will the player be eliminated from the game?
Hello there, magic_librarian.
Currently, if a person misses his turn, say, 5 times in a row, if you log on after 5 days, you'll be able to place down 5 times the number of armies you would usually put in one turn, to make up for it.
Most people hate this a lot, though; it delays the game a lot because everybody else has to wait a whole day to miss your turn, especially in a sequential game.
This topic is currently up for debate, whether or not to vote to kick the "deadbeat" off and force him/her to surrender, or to automatically kick them once 4 turns have passed, etc.
Personally, I wouldn't try waiting for a few days on purpose. It annoys the heck out of your opponents, and you can't get a card for each round missed.

I just finished working on Auto-Deadbeat-Elimination just now. It will kick you out once you have missed 4 turns. If we are still too annoyed I can always make it 3 turns in the future.
I think you should make it a toggleable option for really really casual players. Some people might want to play uber risk whereby you skip turns as a strategy and play when you think you've got enough men. It's quite interesting.
But yeah toggleable option works. Or at least make a skip turn option because I'm totally gonna lose if I don't finish my games by Thursday since I'm heading off for Chinese New Year by then and won't be back for a week.
But 40ft is out of the game. He was kicked for being a "deabeat" apparently. Might wanna fix that little typo.

For now I want to avoid too many options, could get confusing. And if I put in that "bank my armies" button it will let you pull off suprise attack strategies...
The more options the merrier. The only downside to having so much options are confusion and the time taken to program them all. But aside from that they do nothing but good.
You could have subsets of options and such. Like you can't have double turns in sequential games. I'll expand on this later.
