Re: Conquer National Bank
Cool idea. I am sure you will get to graphics later so i don't even need to mention it. I would make it so the vault is a 1 way attack outwards but can be bombarded by the guards. Divide the waiting room with tellers and lines. Divide the offices further.
Love the idea...

Re: Conquer National Bank
i might think about making the alarms killer neutrals, becuase if you were somewhere, and an alarm went off, wouldn't you want to leave as fast as you could, in which case you wouldn't be there anymore. just a thought

Re: Conquer National Bank
thats an interesting idea actually, but how about the money carts being a killer neutral as there is some real loss in losing one of those.
FYI
the map will be going under a dynamic change to a layout of a real bank not a house, stand by for some epic change.

Re: Conquer National Bank
I believe this map would be wicked with Fog of War enabled, you wouldn't know where anyone is thus making gameplay more interesting.

i don't think that the money carts should be though, because if the alarms were killer and the carts, it would make it almost too challenging, and you would loose a lot of people
Re: Conquer National Bank
well im not going to make the alarms killer cuz they exist so that people have to take a fort loss to get to carts
Re: Conquer National Bank

Re: Conquer National Bank
Generally, it was my idea and a.sub just decided to make a map layout and yes we will joint build this map for consideration in this conquer community.

Re: Conquer National Bank
I'm no expert, but I think the two things you're gonna hear a lot of are
1) "it's too dark!" (personally, I like the way a darker map looks, but yeah, it's kinda tough to read around the edges, just see what you can do)
2) "you've got a lot of extra space around the edges..." (it shouldn't be that hard to zoom more on the blueprint, though I like what the table does for the theme. And I'm not sure how you'll deal with the sticky note, since that seems to be the reason the space is there.
Good progress so far, I've been following this thread all the way through, and I'm looking forward to the map.

Re: Conquer National Bank
kk ill lighten it up, actually what i did was i had put a layer of solid black on then messed with the opacity and the layer mask to give it the shadow look
as for the the extra space i could make it bigger then move it to the letf on the table so it doesnt get in the way of the sticky note

Re: Conquer National Bank
looks really good, a.sub
I'm not experienced enough to give you any more advice... but I can read it perfectly now. I like it!
one question though... are you naming each of the dots with a person's name, or are you planning to label them based on the room they're in?

well i do like explosions lol but i did that cuz i didnt see any viable pathway from the inside
advice more than welcome
Re: Conquer National Bank - Updated P5
hmm... you could have a decided large mass of neutrals titled "safe door" representing the difficulty of this barrier... it just seems odd to me to get to the safe only from outside...
