I think so yes, it was also a serie of 6 games with 6 very good players ofcourse, the only difference was that it was all flat rate!!
But it was awsome, and the chances that Godd would've won were very big to cause I know he is one of the best tourney players out there, obviously, I hope I encounter him in the final of this tourney as well

I have a question about scoring in this tournament that I could not find answer to maybe I just overlooked it or maybe it is not there. If 2 or more players are eliminated in a game in the same round by the same player I assume the points for the position are added together and split evenly between players as this would be the most fair(example: player that wins the game eliminates 2 players in last round so each player should get 6 points-7 for 2nd place & 5 for 3rd divided by 2 players). If there is a reason for any other dispersal then why ? True in some games a player is eliminated first for cards and sometimes it is just winner's choice of who was closest at the time. An example could be the winner started last round with 50 armies, player 2 had 25 and player 3 only 1 but winner may eliminate player 2 first and player 3 last and even though player 2 was in better playing position to start the round he might end up 3rd. Sorry if this is rambling or hard to understand but I would like some clarification.

Surely this is part of the strategy for the Tournament...

If you were in the great position to win the final game of the round this turn with Player A and Player B still left in the game with you. Now let's say you were in 4th place with 20 points + 10 points for winning this game = 30. Player A had 24 points and Player B was out of the running. You would therefore wipe out Player A first giving him just 5 points (for 3rd place), and 29 in total and therefore allowing YOU to progress through to the next round.

amen to that exactly, it's the eliminator's decision who gets the most points by killing him last. It's like tco said a matter of tactic.
