I recently got season 1 and 2 of Arrested Development (birthday gift from my sweetie). That show is so funny, but oddly enough, noone watches it (ratings) and it has been cancelled.

I agree there TV is generally a waste of time but that is some good programing, but I would have to add one in there - the old Simpson's.
I can almost guarantee a loss and misspelled words.
Dr. Who is simply awesome... I never watched any of the older ones though, however the new ones have a lot better special affects...

Futurama
South Park
And anything that looks like it could be interesting, such as all of those programs on the Da Vinci Code that were on the other day...
(I still have to remember that there are a lot of people from the states here... Not sure what you guys have on TV over there actually... lol)
