Here's the latest. While not yet fixed in the tiny image, are these colours more pleasing for the pink areas? Removed the dotted lines.

And Sailorseal, I wonder about that ... would it play better if Deep Cove and Belcarra were connected? Do I have too many dead ends?

I think the 2 continents in the top left are over-valued On their own, they might be worth 2, and 3, but to hold both of them for a total of 5 seems a little too easily achieved.

It looks like things are moving in the right direction.

The map still appears slightly blurry in places, but the colour change is a big improvement. The biggest thing that needs to be addressed before things move onto the next stage are bringing the graphics up a level, and consolidating the direction you want the gameplay to take.

Thank you thank you, Mr Benn!

It is blurry, now that I look at it! Everything but Horseshoe Bay is blurred. I'll see what I can do about the rest of the graphics too.

What do we mean about consolidating the direction of gameplay? I'm thinking I like gameplay it as it is, right now.

Joodoo -

I had a bonus there before as part of the port bonus. Should it be a separate +1 for simply owning Sea Island, with a little airplane? No special powers, just +1. Starts neutral.

Thank you Raven, Joodoo.

Made some minor tweaks today. Bridges, North Vancouver's bonus, colours of Surrey and Langley a little, and the overall texture. The bridge from Kitsilano to Downtown has been moved, so it would not appear to go into Downtown Station. I hope it is clear that Kitsilano, Hastings, and Downtown are all unique territories.

looking good. one minor thing (doesn't matter really :) ) is that below pitt meadows where that large 'bulge' in the river is, is an island. ;) but thats just me being too critical...

other wise i like it the way it is

Raven, yes, Barnston Island, isn't it? I took out all the non-playable islands to clean up the map some. Annacis Island is also absent, though its name remains. Perhaps those two islands should go back in?

Yes! Nameless, but they will be called "Oakridge Station", "Port Moody Station", and the like. Oh, I probably have to explain that somewhere, don't I. I thought the white circles would make it clear enough.

Here's a thought: how about a +1 autodeploy on Sea Island instead of the airport bonus? It's a very strategic point.

With +1 Autodeploy usually comes Starts Neutral, right?

What makes Sea Island a strategic point?

i sort of fell as though the legend is a little cluttered, the minimap is fine, but i was just thinking you could move all of the writing into the bay area by boundry bat and white rock. I think this would give a little more clarity to the Ports becuase at the moment they look as thought they are divided
