"2-Minute Turn" Movement
After some searching, I haven't found this topic, but I can't be alone in wanting this...
In a 8-player sequential game, one could be waiting for anything between 40 minutes and 4 minutes between turns in a "speed" game.
In a freestyle "speed" game, in which one usually pays close attention for the entire duration of the turn, at the very least, four minutes are spent waiting for time to expire.
I suggest a new classification of game -- "turbo", if you will, with 2-minute turns, and in my interaction with other players, I know that I'm not alone in wanting this. Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting that CC get rid of or change anything, just that they add another option. Please show your support by commenting!

Re: "2-Minute Turn" Movement
I like the idea a lot, multi player games get boring if everyone takes their turn after 2-3 minutes. But 8 players are maximum in a game, but I guess you meant to write 8 instead of 9
Re: "2-Minute Turn" Movement
Whoops! Yeah, I meant 8 -- thanks, I missed that!

two minute turns sounds great, five minutes is too long in a lot of games, hope this idea gets some attention

1. This is supposed to be in the suggestions forum, not GD.
2. This has been suggested 50+ times.
3. This has already been rejected.

Any idea why? Are you for it, or against it?

I've suggested it myself (in the proper area), but it got rejected. It won't happen - "5 minutes is already fast enough," is the typical response.

Re: "2-Minute Bowel" Movement
why don't you go to the suggestions forum, fill out the form, and let people give input over there? that is the right place for this. and it is the area of the forum where you are going to get more traction with an idea, and more of the type of eyes you are hoping to see this... good luck... the black jesus has spoken...-0

Nobody's going to implement this idea, it's come up a lot already. But what you could do is strike a pact with 7 other players to play a game of this sort. If you're really not alone in wanting it, then it shouldn't be hard to fill out a game. Then you can play 2 minute turns to your heart's content.
Re: "2-Minute Turn" Movement
Another thing which could be done to speed up the 5-minute game would be to kick deadbeats out of the game for missing a single turn.
I like the idea for a 2-minute setting.

Re: "2-Minute Turn" Movement
I have always thought it would be better to have something like 1 minute turns for speed games.
And then certain actions add time back onto the clock. If you deploy, cash cards, click attack, click end attack etc it would add 1 second to your clock. That way the clock runs out quickly when there is no action, but you have extra time if you are attacking a lot of territories. And you would get an extra minute if you eliminate a player, and then continual 1 or 2 second bonuses for each action.

Would everyone is a freestyle game have their own clock? I thought it was silly to give everyone the time bonus for an elimination in the battle royale games, because we ended up with 25 minute rounds for comparatively little action. But I can see how individual clocks would be a hassle to monitor.

Re: "2-Minute Turn" Movement
im sugested in sugestion forum, idea when people can decide how faster will play from 5 to 1 minute option. So far nobody from Mods say nothing, and still is not rejected or acepted.
Re: "2-Minute Turn" Movement
this idea sound good at first but you must remember the second part. Sure everyone in a speed freestyle game waits ALOT, but that one turn where the action finally starts to happen is packed with thinking/strategizing/movement and as much time is needed as possible. I just played a speed game and i had no time to think, it was my turn then my turn again and i needed to squeeze strategy into there somehow. It sounds good, but as an option button not to override the 5 minute speed turn.

If the second part is that some complex freestyle games won't fit in a two-minute window, then you should choose a five-minute game. Just as some maps are great with fog, and some others aren't, two-minute games won't be great for every map.
Re: "2-Minute Turn" Movement
I like the idea of a "2-minute" turn. and would be in favor of it, so long as 5-min games were still around.
I play from work alot, and sometimes when I miss a turn, I need the extra time. Doing away with a 5-min game entirely would take away from those who need those extra three minutes, be it to use the restroom, or pretend to be diligent while your boss is around.
