Are there any maps that you just simply despise?

For me, it would be Montreal, Ireland, and Alexander's Empire.

I don't hate many of them, but to me more experence, with the maps in what makes me never play.

Maps I will not play
Crossword
Circus Maximus
USApocalypse

Maps I don't care for but will play
Ireland - nice map just very boring to look at
Germany - not sure what it is about this map but just doesn't appeal
CCU - growing on me, just not sure armies translate into a University

Favourite maps
Alexanders Empire
Classic
World 2 (but only a few games at a time)
And of course space

To me one of the most important features for a map is that it is easily readable, with good color contrast that makes different continents, borders, etc. instantly recognizable at a glance.

With that guiding principle, I love Space, North America, USA, Montreal, and the British Isles. I dislike World 2.0, Ireland, Europe, and USApocalypse. And Circus Maximus is just too strange.

The maps I really hate: Indochina, Crossword >> Never played and dont intend to play; world 2.0 (i played once, but the huge drop list is REALLY annoying)
Maps I strongly dislike: Ireland, and Canada (in this one just the 2 small continents arent useless), and Circus Maximus (and someone talked it would be more played than classic! :lol:

)
Dont like: USA, Greece and Hong Kong

Love: Europe, USApocalypse, Discworld, Philippines and North America.

hate crossword. never played circus maximus but i won't hate it. it will just b a bit gimicky. world 2.0 is too big and so the game totally changes. its not about breaking continents its about hanging on to ur own.
all the others people hate i can't understand why? space isn't bad although the 2 left conts can make for an unfair game. USapoc, alexanders, asia? wats wrong with them? i'm in a great game on USapoc. its so even we r into round 55! http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=111891
