Do you have any opinion on whether we should withdraw or not from the region?

And if you dare say your opinion is the US is doing good things there, please don't post it as this 94% liberal forum community will simply dismiss your opinion and call you an idiot.

Oh, I am sure there is some good being done...to the tune of $341.4 million per day. Sure would be nice to be able to spend that here at home where we really need it.

And sorry to hear you have to go back again. Keep your wits about you and come home safe, again.

Well I work at a financial firm, and by your reasoning, then I know everything that is happening on Wall Street.

Re read my post, or better yet search my posts. I am ALWAYS pro-military. My statement was a crack at the euro-liberal college students on this site, not our armed forces. Grim...one step forward, 9 steps back.

Not necessarily what he meant... A person who's actually in Iraq would have a far better idea of what's going on than any of us back here, as they're actually a part of it. So obviously they'd have a much more informed opinion of what's going on due to extensive first-hand experience. In theory, anyway...

Ok, then...ask me any question about any part of Texas. I am in it, so obviously I would know all.

Anyway, it was a crack on how this forum is so leftist, that is all.

You would know more about it than I do, as somebody who's never been to Texas.

So are you nea or in an Iraqi civilian town? If you are, how many hours a day of electricity do they have? Does the sewage system work? Are there lights on in the streets at night?

Just curious

Also, do the kids go to school? Are the schools segregated by gender?

Point proven.

Right-wingers are constantly persecuted on this forum with silly insults that don't really mean anything.

Does there seem to be much work being done to restore infrastructure to Iraqis? Aren't alot of people there still without electricity, water, etc?

Can one really be persecuted by silly insults? Either we use stinging bile that insults you personally in addition to your worldview (which I see a bit of, and am not a really big fan of) or light and fluffy humor like this post poking fun at a minor misstatement in your post - but if posts like this really persecute you, then what do we call the guys who got fed to the lions way back when?
