is there a round limit or a time limit? for the first round, with it being flat rate and on 2.1, it looks to be close to a stalemate. if one player gets too strong, everyone else teams up on him until he's back down to their level. then someone else gets too strong. it takes forever for the game to end...

I'm reluctant to set a round limit/time limit because then people will wait and then scramble at that moment. But I might make one. I'll send everyone a pm if I set one.

The games that are still running range from round 18 to round 25; none of them look like they are gearing towards a quick finish. So I'm proposing that we either:
1) Stop each game at round 30 and advance the two players with the most terriories or
2) Choose a different arbitrary end date or
3) Continue going forever and ever.

I think that we are going to have to set an end date to move the tournament on. How does everyone feel about round 30 as an end date?

The fairest way would be to let the games finish or just advance the three or four players and change the tournament slightly, otherwise somebody will probably get teamed up on I would think...

ok, i'm going to let it run it's course because the other rounds should finish pretty quickly since they are 1v1. However, if February comes an end will be near.

So i think I'm being teamed up on in my game I'll find out for sure though after this round if it keeps up. Just kinda fishy that they both attacked my bonus' last turn and only cleared each other out for them to keep their bonus but then decided not to attack each other's bonus'. Hopefully this doesn't repeat again this round but if it does then I'll suspect something.

told you escalating would of been better

some flat rate games with skilled players can take about 1 year to play or more, i have seen it and been in them, so that is why i suggested escalating awhile back.
