As I stated in the other map thread...

Sad to see a map discarded...especially after so much work has been put into it.

I think there is still a lot of potential...perhaps there needs to be clearer dialogue on what everyone is trying to achieve with the map. But at this stage, it is ultimately up to qwert if he would like to abandon the map to the pits of the Foundry Furnace.

i got new idea, maybe its better to put in map only that part of europe where war figh from 1914-1918. When shrink map i vill got a larger map then old version and text can stand in teritory better. Tell yours opinion of that.

I know this map is interesting from a historical perspective, but it does cover a very similar geographical area to the current europe map. Perhaps you could consider doing a map of a smaller area?

Perhaps a section of the western front?

While I think the zoomed in map is a big improvement, I'm not sure it's enough to warrant continuing the map. I think giving up on this map was the best idea you had. Put more effort into your Eastern Front map and actually give people something to comment on.

I like this zoomed map. Continue working on it and add the army shadows and text. This map is more focused on Europe that the current Europe map which also includes North Africa and the Middle East (which for some strange reason is called Near East!! ) and I prefer it. I really think we need a Europe map that is more focused on err...Europe!

ppppplllleeeeaaaaassssseeeee go back to the original map im sure there were loads of people interested there were 14 pages of comments before it was discarded. Surely im not the only person that likes to see a good map coontinue wherever the geographical area is. The playability is good and visually it was becomming very good. qwert i understand that you might not want to carry it on but please do.

I also like the zoomed in approach more than the previous. I like the other visual style though, so if you can incorporate that back in, or at least part of it, this just might be a winner! I think the zoomed in area will allow you to have ample room to work with names, army shadows, and impassable borders, etc.

One thing you need to keep in mind though...where are you putting the bonus legend at?

Why is the sea black in most options? I like 8, but with neutrals being gray :)
