Seq Esc 6 player league.

Due to all the different variations of games available here on conquerclub I feel the scoreboard has lost some of it's allure, for myself personally anyway.

Therefore I've come up with the notion of a seq esc 6 player league. Not being an avid reader of the forums I don't know whether this has been thought of or tried before?

My idea would be easy to run and more prestegious than the scoreboard is to true risk players.

The players would be grouped together on the strength of their points, at the start of the league. 5 games per season with 6 points for 1st, 5 for 2nd etc etc.

6th place would be relegated to the group below and 1st place would be promoted. Unless you're already in the top group, in which case you'd be champion.

I'd really like to see this work and hope the true risk players amongst us can work together on this! Hopefully we could get something up and running by mid January?

More points should be given to whoever finishes first. Since now being second is almost just as good as winning.

well, if i understand this correctly, then I'm totally in for it...

i assume you mean STD, seq, esc, chained, 6 player
And points only go to the winner of each game...

I think he's talking of points separate from the normal game points.... and a separate scoreboard just for this league.

He's talking about making a league. Where the standings are calculated with points, the winner should get much more points than whoever comes second. It just makes sense.

It should still be in either Callouts or the Tournament Forums.

This would be an ongoing league and ran solely by the players . The points (as in cc points) would only go to the winners of each game.

The league points would be calculatated at the end of each season (5 games) to determine your finishing place in your group.

I think a new season could be started every month. Even the slowest players should've finished a Std Seq esq 6 player by then.

Thanks to those who've shown an interest so far. Even if we only get around 60 players to start this up, i think it's worth a crack.

I'll join, and i agree with White Moose, in fact there should only be points given to the winner.

Its not like flat rate or no spoils games. 90% of the time it finishes in one sweep and what position (after 1st) you finish is no measure of your game play, pretty much just luck.
