Quit&Cancel

Post by mandalorian2298 »

I just "won" a doubles game because one of my opponents didn't show up. I don't feel like I won or like I have played the game at all.

Because of this, I think there should be an option for "Canceling" the game, that is to terminate it without points bein given or taken away. Of course, game could only be canceled if all the players are unonimus about the cancellation (losing through deadbeating would count as "agreeing").

I like the idea but like the dude before me said, people would abuse it. If there are some rules you can figure out them maybe it could happen.

This is hard to figuerit up...
The point is ( well - that is my opinion ): When you pick up the glow and you accept the fight, than stay and fight! There can be a lot of honor and satisfaction when you loose the fight against a better, stronger and more experienced addversary but there is no honor and no pride in escaping, running away and leaving your team mate in troubles!

You did change your mind about fighting? Ok - get out of the fight before it starts and no after that!

Once the game begins stay and fight and if you will lose the game, the oponent wil shake hends with you - if you will run away no one in going to do that...

I think in that case that one simply stops playing, he should get some penalty. If both would loose lets say - 16 points than the ona who did stay and fight should lose maybe only 8 points and the one who did run away should loose 24 points.

There is hope to win untill you lose tha kast army and teritory - dices are impredictable!

Man.... I really need to lurn English better...

My just intention is: To stay and fight and dead or alive you are comming with me! You can beat me, you can tear me appart but I will not run away!

Simpl as that...

The only problem is that if a player deadbeats, especially if it is a noob, they are unlikely to return to the site, let alone an Admin.

I'm with mandalorian on this, some sort of "draw game" option would be good for games with deadbeats. Assuming it was done similar to a poll on the forum, and in a drawn game no points were won or lost then I can't see too much room for abuse.

Another possible implementation would be some sort of auto-draw on games where for example 50% or greater of players deadbeat.

Man I think that in situations like this one, the Administrator should hawe a possibility to owerride the automatic gained points... To take off the points fom deadbeat players and ditribute them among players who won that game. Or even take off some extra penalty points from deadbeaten players.
