Instead of rounds, it will progress by weeks. 17 weeks for this tourny in the regular season, then the playoffs and finally the Super Bowl!

How exactly are you making up the schedule?

I mean, will the regular season schedule mimic the real regular season from the 2006 NFL, and if not, then what?

I think this tourney is a great idea...

Any other players want to play in this team? Just send me a PM.

Just quoting my original message, so say that the 1st Alternate has dropped out. So I still need 2 alternates. If you want to play, just reply or send a PM to me.

And how is the schedule exact. Who do you all play? Only teams from your own group or also teams from other groups, and how many times do you play each (sorry to ask this, but I have no idea how the NFL-schedule is build up).

Each division plays itself twice, two other divisions once each, and 2 other single teams from the other divisions in the conference.

For example, say you are in the NFC East;

You play each of the other 3 teams in the NFC East twice. Once at your field, once at theirs.

This year the NFC East also played the NFC South and the AFC South - so you would play each of those 4 teams once.

Our example NFC East team also played one team each from the NFC North and the NFC West, bringing the total to 16 games.

You get one "bye" week during the season, thus the 16 games take 17 weeks to play.

To check out any specific team, start here: http://www.nfl.com/standings , then drill down to the team you want to check, and click Schedule.

While the regular season is cut and dried, this tourney should get really interesting near the end if we have to start figuring Conquer Club tiebreakers based on things like strength of schedule. Hah!

Is there still no team to represent the Packers? Maybe I could get the team together.

(edit) I just scaned through the thread and I see that gav88111 wanted Green Bay, with Rebecca Gavin.

So hows this?

Team Captain: Cramill
Team Member 1: gav88111
Team Member 2: Rebecca Gavin
Alternate 1: dcowboys055
Alternate 2: Bighab

Home stadium: Philippines, Sequential, Flat Rate, Unlimited.
