I'm having a bit of trouble with it.

That's too bad, because my map idea works perfectly with the funky layout, and it looks absolutely stunning. ;)

One week until submission deadlines! If you haven't already put something together, time to get cracking.

You don't really want them to tell, do you? If they did, we'd be able to pretty easily sort out who made what, and I think that not knowing and taking wild guesses is half the fun. Keep it quiet, everyone!

Could the Centerscape deadline possibly be extended to the end of the weekend?
I've got school and mountains of homework this week, I doubt I'll be able to make the deadline.
I've already put a lot of work into the map, I just need a few extra days to get my school work sorted out so I have time to finish the map....

Well, we've had three weeks - if we push it back any further we'll be voting over the holidays, when folks are on vacation. I suggest you just do what you can, put a big "work in progress" stamp on the map, and if folks like the direction its going enough to make it a finalist you'll have three more weeks or so to put together a second draft. I don't think any map will look entirely finished at this stage.

bummer :(

i had my math final today, and i think that i got a couple wrong, cause i usually make really stupid mistakes in math (like i leave a number out, or miss a - sign, or forget to put in x ....)

cant wait to see what people came up with :D

If I am correct, that means I have until 6:59pm where I live to submit this. Unless I get a good couple of hours right after school tomorrow, I don't think I'll be submitting anything....

Turns out I had more spare (procrastinating) time than ever, so I will be done before deadline easy. Think I'm finished now, but I'm going to hold off until I put procrastination into it while writing my 12-page paper tomorrow/studying for my math exam that's Thursday morning. Can't wait to get my ass handed to me

I think I'll be able to make the deadline.
The only major things I need to do are territory names, army circles, and a bonus box. Then it should at least be finished enough to submit...

quick question:
should we copy/paste some army numbers onto the map, or just leave them with blank army circles?

Well, since I don't know where you are... ??? East Coast is five hours behind GMT, yes? I believe I'm eight hours back, so basically when I get home from work I'll post whatever I've got and call it done.

I'd say you should do whatever you believe makes your map look best. If you think that means making it look "finished" with army counts, do it; if you think that means making it look "clean" without them, so be it. At this point you're just selling the map - some specifics can be worked out later.
